Hi my name is Corina but Nina for short and I'm an ofsted registered childminder.
I am a mum of 2 beautiful grown up daughters, Aunty of 3 and Godmother to 5 young children (so I have lots of personal experience.)
Our other family member apart from my husband Adrian is BooBoo our small Pom doggy and I believe that children can learn a lot from having contact with animals.
I open at 6:15am and offer a warm, loving and safe environment for your child to be cared for in where they will be encouraged to learn through play at their own pace as all children in my care are treated as individuals.
My home is situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac and is a friendly and pleasant place for children to spend time. Downstairs there's a separate play area and dining room with a downstairs bathroom and large kitchen. There's a large, child friendly secured back garden overlooking the river (great for duck feeding) with an even bigger selection of toys/equipment for outdoor play.
I have an extensive range of toys to suit all ages and all sexes, for both indoor and outdoor play, including educational toys, puzzles, dolls, dressing up clothes, cars, animals, Lego, playhouse and books etc.
I also have a range of art and craft activities and childrens baking equipment and actively encourage the children to be creative.
I do my utmost to encourage learning through play including playgroup visits and daily outdoor activities (weather permitting).
I have my own transport for organised trips/days out and I also meet with other childminders on a regular basis where we plan activities for all the children to do together. We are an active part of the community and I believe strongly in partnerships with parents and look forward to possibly working with you and your child.
I am happy to provide all children in my care with healthy varied home cooked meals, snacks and drinks as mealtimes are a social occasion designed to encourage communication and social skills. I encourage children to choose healthy options and to try new foods and I have a menu planner and individual reward charts which aids in organising meals dependant upon the childs likes/dislikes.
My Experience
I have plenty of experience caring for babies, children including twins from birth to teens and I have completed all workshops giving me the trained ability to deliver EYFS effectively whilst making it FUN FUN FUN.
I have completed training on safeguarding children and child protection.
I am a member of PACEY.
All my family members hold Enhanced Criminal Record Disclosures (Most Stringent available)
I also have excellent references available upon request.
My Qualifications
I am registered with Ofsted to mind children from birth along with children over 8 years.
I am registered with the local environmental agency to prepare & serve food.
I am a member of the PACEY and hold their comprehensive insurances.
EYFS trained.
I hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate,
Safeguarding Children certificate,
and Food Safety & Hygiene certificate.
My Availability
I provide childcare Monday to Friday full time or part time.
I care for children of all ages including birth to school age.
I also provide care for school holiday cover.

Our DS has been attending Cheeky Cherubs for 6 months now and Nina is absolutely brilliant. From the very first contact, Nina was friendly and informative and we knew instantly we wanted her to care for our child. We get sent photos and regular updates, a real personal touch. Our DS settled in really quickly and loves Nina like family. We love seeing what he's done each day; yoga, dolls, baking, outside play, crafts, trips out, nature walks and fruit picking, plus so much more. His speech and development have come on lots since starting with Nina, he really gets that home from home care. Nina provides home cooked meals every day and a great variety of foods. Our DS is extremely happy with Nina, as are Mum and Dad and he always has a smile on his face at drop off and pick up. We would recommend Nina and her Cheeky Cherubs 100%.

I was very apprehensive about leaving my little girl at only 8 months to return to work, however Nina made the transition easy!
My little girl loves going to Nina's now (waving me off at the door every morning!) and I have noticed a huge difference in her confidence and abilities since she started. She astounds me every day with the things that she has learnt and I love reading her daily diaries and receiving pictures of her daily activities.
Nina is always planning fun activities be it crafts, baking, feeding the ducks, outings to the library/play centre and I can tell that she has a genuine love for childcare.
More than anything, I see how much she cares for my little girl and it's a joy to see the relationship that they have built 💛

I was apprehensive about child minders over nursery settings but once we met Nina, I knew it choosing her was the right decision for our family. Nina provides a beautiful learning environment that our son loved, she is caring, open, honest and trustworthy. The early education provided meant our son was more than ready for primary school, we were given daily diary and an overall journal of his 4 years there which was incredible to read. Nina supported out family through some difficult times including covid by being adaptive to changes and working with us to provide what we needed at different times. Our son loved going to Nina, it broke our hearts the day we had to say goodbye, how do you say thank you to someone who has been such a huge part of your child's development during the early years. I would recommend Nina a hundred times over to anyone who is in this difficult and sometimes anxious situation as she made our decision incredibly easy and made the transition for me returning back to work extremely easy.

I was very apprehensive about leaving my daughter at childcare and wasn't sure how to select the correct setting. Nina was recommended to me from a friend so I decided to get in touch.
Nina was amazing straight from the start. She invited us round, showed us her portfolio and all the paper work that she completes for each child. She made us feel at ease straight away and my little girl had a fee taster sessions before we sent her full time at only 5 months old. Nina stuck to our routine as much as possible and we could see a big different in our daughters abilities after only a couple of weeks. Nina taught her to sit unaided, stand, walk and lots more! Now my little girl has just turned 3 and still astounds us with new things she has learnt on a weekly bases. She can hold a pen perfectly, identify different species of birds etc and is a very polite, independent little girl. When the pandemic broke out Nina made sure my daughter was following the correct procedures and taught her the perfect hand washing techniques.
Nina keeps up with observations and if there is anything she seems to be struggling with, Nina spends time working on it with her. We get a learning journal sent home at certain times and it shows us all of the days out and activities they have been doing and it is amazing to see how much our little girl has grown and flourished at Ninas. Even the meals that Nina offers are varied and our daughter eats foods that I would never have even thought to offer and she loves them all! Our daughter loves Nina so much and always wants to go. She even asks if she can sleep over! I 100% recommend Nina and will be sending my younger daughter in July!

I am so pleased my son got a place with Nina! He has been there since he was 6 months old, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 and he is now 4 and off to school soon! Nina has had a massive influence on his upbringing and he has become such a happy, caring, polite and intelligent boy! We can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for us as a whole family. Charlie has been nurtured and cared for, he has tried all sorts of food, he has been taught lots of different life skills, been taken on many days out and mostly he has been brought up in a happy safe environment with someone who really cares about him! Nina has been been accommodating if we have had issues getting back to collect him on time. She has been ready and waiting with a cup of tea when I have needed someone to talk to. She has got Charlie school ready and she has also given us lots of information about what we can do at home to help him prepare. We get an amazing journal sent home every few months documenting everything he had been learning about and I am always impressed at the diversity of everything he is being taught! I love receiving craft items he has made during the day, they are keepsakes I will treasure forever! You will not be disappointed if you chose Nina to look after your child, she has made me confident from the beginning that Charlie is in safe hands and made the transition of going back to work that much easier, he loves going there and he has lots of happy memories to take with him to school!

I am so glad I chose Nina to look after my boy on my return to work almost 2 years ago, he settled so easily and loves going to ninas every day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for childcare as she is just a wonderful, trustworthy, friendly, caring, loving person who genuinely enjoys childminding.

After being stressed looking for childcare for my return to work from maternity leave and having considered and visited and reviewed all the OFTED reports of all the local nurseries & not being happy , I then found Nina. Returning to work and being separated from your little one is very anxious for both little one and mummy and although both my two older children attended nurseries, the care they provided is not even comparable to the care and love that Nina has given my son. he has been cared for by Nina now for the least 20 months and he loves her to pieces. Each morning he smiles and tells me we are going to Ninas and adores her. The care she provided is second to none, very attentive and most of all fun,fun fun. Nina takes the children out at least once each week where they will socialise with other children being looked after by other child minders, go to play areas, do arts and crafts at Ninas beautiful child friendly home, go berry picking, make cards and pain and draw. Nina has been a god send to me and always been there if a needed Her last minute to care for shane with my heavy work commitments. Nina send me pics of my son so I can see what he's upto and he loves going as if Nina is part of the family. In some respect I supose she is as I trust her impeccably with my precious one. I would recommend Nina to anyone looking for the best childcare for your little one, she is amazing.xxx

After months of stressing and worrying about finding the right Minder for my 18 month old, we found our saviour in Nina. I was concerned over leaving my son whilst i had to go back to work but i needn't have. My son has been cared for by Nina for 12 months now and i can honestly say he loves going everyday. For a very shy little boy, he has he made many friends and she has helped his confidence. He returns home with his little stories everyday and we can see that Nina has helped him with his learning and development. I like how she will send me foto's during the day to show me he is enjoying himself with what activities they have been up to :) . She is also very flexible with her hours and has helped us out on many occasions when either dad or myself have been stuck at work and its such a relief that we know he is happy and content and we don't have to worry.
All in all you will struggle to find anyone better than Nina

Nina looked after my 2 children for 2 years and has been a thorough joy and pleasure to work with. She is a modern day Mary poppins playing with the kids and helping them develop and progress whilst keeping it enjoyable! The children have so much fun with her and are always full of stories about the adventures she takes them on and exciting things they do. They both feel loved and secure with her and sometimes I have a battle getting them to come home.
I can honestly say that she is an amazing childminder, and person and you will find she quickly becomes part of your family.

Nina has cared for our daughter for 6 months and in that period she has developed brilliantly. Nina is always welcoming, smiling, firm and fair. Her approach to discipline, nutrition and development are second to none. Our daughter loves the trips in the car for the school run, and really enjoys mixing with older children who Nins takes to and from school. We are so glad that we found Nina, a professional service with a smile.
