I will be collecting from Regis Manor Primary School as this is our local school and my son attends here.
I am married and a mummy to two beautiful boys aged 8 and 6 as well as step-mum to my step-son who is 18 and my step-daughter who is 16 and we all live together in Milton Regis.
Our house is busy and loud; full of laughter and love. Our children are central to our world which is why I am taking a break from being a social worker to childmind so that I can raise my children in their home and support them through their early years (as well as the dreaded teenage years). This opportunity will also allow me to teach and care for other children in a home from home environment whilst their parents return to work/continue to work knowing their children are being nurtured.
We regularly attend baby/toddler groups as well as exploring parks, woodlands, farms and zoos. We love visiting the beach on sunny days and jumping in puddles on those rainy days. We love messy play, sensory play and dancing to music (radio and making our own).
My step-son has a diagnosis of autism and ADHD however is high-functioning and well-managed; therefore I have a personal experience of learning about special educational needs as well as emotional and behavioural difficulties. My step-daughter has a diagnosis of Autism which has been a very long process however again is well managed I believe in a therapeutic environment and have experience (as well as wanting to continue training) in this area.

My Experience
I have always loved being around children and began working with young children when I was 16 years of age.
I have experience working as a nursery assistant for 4 years as well as volunteering in a primary school at the same time.
I am a back up foster carer and have been for 15 years. My parents have been foster carers for a Local Authority for this time and I regularly support them in the care and respite of their fostered children.
I have been working as a children and families social worker for 8 years.
I am paediatric first aid trained and hold an enhanced DBS.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in psychology and a Masters degree in Social Work. I am was previously working as a frontline social worker working with children and families whom need support and guidance in keeping their children safe and child protection.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, have completed my Paediatric First Aid course (completed 22nd May 2022) and am Ofsted registered.
I am registered with Pacey and and Childcare.co.uk and am regularly completing up-to-date training courses. I have completed my Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS Teaching Diploma) as well as a Food and Hygiene course.
My Availability
For babysitting - I am generally available at weekends in particular evenings however with enough notice I may be able to help during the day.
Child-minding hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 however these can be flexible depending on the need. I currently have no availability however this will be changing from September 2025. I accept all funding and tax-free childcare. There are additional charges.

- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Babysitting £10 per hour (up to £12 if sibling group- price increases after midnight (unsociable hours))
Child-minding £6.50 per hour. day rates available. happy to discuss needs.
I accept government funding and childcare vouchers.
