I am healthy and active I love yoga and hiking, running, biking and skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
I am down to earth and easygoing.
I love to visit all sorts of children groups (singing, soft play, city farms) as well as visiting playgrounds and parks and socialising with other kids and nannies/mums. I am also confident to organise bigger outings to central London for example to London Museums and Zoo.
My Experience
Work history:
I started my work in childcare in my home country- Czech Republic where I have been looking after 2 girls while their parents were at work (they were about 2 and 5 when I started) I have been working for this family for about 2,5 years (part time). I still have great relationships with the family.
My first experience abroad was in Ireland working as au-pair for family of 6 (4 girls between 2 and 9 y/o). I was mainly looking after youngest one and was helping with all of them before and after school.
I was also au-pair in UK (Suffolk). I took full-time care of 9month of baby girl Sofia and her brother William. I stayed with this family for about 8months.
My other au-pair jobs were in USA (looking after newborn-full time ) and Spain (summer job) assisting 8 and 10y/o and helping with English and homework
My first nanny job in London was looking after 3 kids (1,3,5 years old). I had sole charge responsibility for all 3 children (baby all they and then two older siblings before and after school).
I have been also helping (part time) other lovely family with two small girls (5months and 18 months when I started) and also worked In nurseries and have done other temporary jobs with other families over the past 3 years.
2019-2020 i was working as live-in nanny, looking after baby who was 8months baby girl and boy 2,5 y/o (attending nursery 2 full days a week) this job has unfortunately came to the end due to COVID.
In the winter 2020 was lucky to find amazing part-time role (3 days a week) working for family with two kids, looking after mostly 15 months old girl but also occasionally her sister who is almost 4. This position was for 5 moths until the little girl joined nursery but we have created very strong bond with both children and parents so I am still babysitting or providing care on holidays and cat/ housesitting for this family. During those 5 months i have also work with other families thru agency.
My last role in London before taking some time off traveling and exploring other parts of the world lasted for about 1,5 year. I was on full time charge of 2 children (g9months b11months at the start) one from each family (nanny share). I was responsible for everything from preparing meals, planing and taking kids to activities to meal plans and nap times. Both children went to nursery in September 2022.
I have multiple references as well I can provide.
My Qualifications
Next to about 9+ years of experience working with children in different setting (homes, nursery,etc)
I have DBS check and also Pediatric First aid
My Availability
Open to options - either full time or part time (minimum 2 full days a week)
