Hiya, name is Janine and I'm a Registered Childminder and I pride myself in offering quality childcare that is engaging and inspiring to your children in a home from home setting, offering flexible hours of child care.
I live with my husband and our 2 children. our daughter is 9 and my son is 8. We live on the Sonora Fields estate by Bobbing. We are both registered with Ofsted to provide care to the children. The benefits to having a male role model around the house are huge and the children very much enjoy having both of us here at Mini Caterpillars Childcare.
We are a home from home setting that has a huge variety of resources and provide a fun and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop in.
We have a safe and secure garden which the children have access to with many toys for them to enjoy outdoors. We live a stones throw away from our local park which we take the children regularly.
We provide day trips to the local farm, woodlands and country parks and more dependlng on interests of the children and of course the weather. We attend a weekly Dance Class, visit a Residential Home and Forest School Class out in the woods with a fully trained Forest School Leader who has years of experience of teaching children and currently teaches in some local schools as well as her toddler class that we attend.
We have ERF car seats for the children to travel in with us and these are Rear Facing until 25kg, we are passionate about the children being safe whilst we are on our adventures so invested in the seats to keep your little ones safe.
We am open from 7am to 5pm, however these hours can be flexible on request.
We currently drop off and collect from Bobbing school, we have been doing this since first registering to childmind therefore have a great relationship with the school.
We use a secure online system that parents will have on-line access too. You can view daily diaries, photos, policies and procedures which can all be signed on-line with a touch screen phone or tablet.

My Experience
We both have many years of experience of caring for children, nurturing them and helping them grow. Babysitting services outside of Childminding hours are availble.
We offer wrap around care from Bobbing School.
We're both Ofsted Registered Childminders and able to offer 15/30 hours funded care.

My little girl started last September when she was just 1. She has settled in amazingly, she loves going every morning and is always happy when i pick her up. The communication is fantastic between myself and Janine, and she is always happy to help wherever she can. I couldn’t have picked a better childminder for my little girl.

Janine has been our daughters minder for over 3 years now and our daughter has come on in leaps and bounds since she started at 9 months old. Janine takes the children to many different activities, from Dance Class to Forest School (and everything in between). Our daughter enjoys being in Janine's care and is excited for the trips they take together.
Janine is warm and welcoming and treats her mindees like her own children.
