We are so excited to connect with you and hopefully welcome you into our family! We’re looking for someone kind, reliable, confident and energetic to join us as a nanny, ideally starting in January, though February could also work if needed. The role can be temp until June, with a view to become a permanent role all being well.

About the Role:
The below is an ideal scenario, but we are flexible and essentially need someone who can support pre/post school throughout the week, the exact days are not so set in stone.

Your main hours (circa 15-20 per week) would involve helping us with school and nursery runs, as well as supporting the family routines:
• Morning drop-offs (2-3 times per week): 6:30–7:30 a.m., getting the children ready and driving them to school and nursery (school is on our road and nursery is just an 8-minute drive).
• Evening pick-ups (2-3 times per week): 5:45 p.m., followed by dinner, bath, and bedtime until around 7:30 p.m.
• Friday afternoons: Picking up the children at 2:45 p.m. and staying with them until 4:30 p.m.
• Meals: preparation of meals for the children and parents Mon-Fri, (this could be prepped earlier during the day when the children and parents are out).
• Washing: washing of clothes, we do circa 3 washes per week for the family – to give you an idea.
• Driving: driving is an essential part of the role and we would like someone who is confident with a clean driving licence.

There may also be an occasional Monday afternoon (12:45–5:30 p.m.) where both children will be home, but we can confirm this nearer the time.

In addition, when our eldest daughter is off from school for half term or Easter holidays, we may need some extra days here and there, and support running her to school clubs, which might mean a drop off in a different location (although always within 30mins from home).

About Us:
We’re an energetic and sociable household that loves being out and about, meeting new people, and enjoying family life. Our two girls (6 and 3 years) are happy, lively, and full of personality! They get along well and even share a room, which they absolutely love.

My husband will be away for work from February for four months, which is why we’re looking for extra support during that time. He will return in mid-June. However, we are looking for a nanny more long-term, so all being well, we would like the relationship to continue. However, if you can only provide short-term, support that is also ok.
