About Me
Hi my name is Cherie I am a fully Ofsted registered childminder with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages). I provide home based child care from my home. Which I share with my spouse, 2 year old daughter and our 1 siamese cats Oliver.
I love cooking, gardening, cycling, tennis and being outdoors.
My Experience
My passion for child care started when I was in high school taking care of children at the local school during holidays. I went on to be a professional chef. Cooking is a huge passion of mine and this is carried through in my setting with raised vegetable beds, fruit trees and herb garden which the children love.
Living in Church Crookham is an ideal location with the local forests, canal, fleet pond and parks to explore as well as local libraries, rhyme time and play groups. I run daily activities from home from free play in the garden with access to mud kitchen, sand/water table, ride on toys etc. As well as plenty of indoor activities messy play, crafts, cooking and baking.
My Qualifications
I am fully OFSTED Certified EYFS Focused Childminder and follow the Early Years Fountain Stages (EYFS) which sets out the OFSTED standards of learning, development and care of children up to 5 years old. I strive to create as many learning opportunities as possible. I treat all child as my own and operate in a homely environment, instilling important values as well as encouraging free play and opportunities to learn.
I understand as a parent myself how tricky it can be going back to work and finding care for your child. I offer settling in days and promote easy communication to ensure a stress free and happy process. I also use the Baby Days online application which makes keeping track of your little one a fantastic experience.

My Fees

Full day 7am to 6pm.

All meals are included on full day rate or hourly rate if during meal times. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and drinks.

My daughter has been going to Little Champs since September and absolutely loves it! She has grown so much in confidence over the last few months. There is always plenty happening such as outings, toddler groups, arts and crafts and cookery class - which is the highlight of the week. Cherie consistently provides updates on a daily basis which are informative and help us as parents put our minds at ease. Cherie also works with is as parents to achieve developmental milestones and is very supportive of our daughter's needs. She provides a loving and caring setting, I always feel confident and happy leaving my daughter with Cherie and no she is well looked after.
