About Me
I am registered childminder living in Longbenton. I live with my husband Allan and our son, Jack. We have a 3 bedroom house with a large open space downstairs, enclosed garden and self contained playroom. I am working under the name Safe Haven Childminding.
I provide a very calm, relaxed, home from home environment and I am very passionate about supporting children grown and love to watch them do this through play. We love to go out on trips to local areas, such as the rising sun. I also attend local playgroups so children are able to mix with a wider range of children in short bursts.
I provide children with the opportunity to extend their learning by having fun, exciting activities. Nature walks, messy play, small world and books are some. I very much follow the children’s lead so they have a lot of choice.

My Experience
I have experience in childcare for over 15 years and have completed a level 5 foundation degree in children and young people. I have also completed the childminding course, Paediatric first aid & safeguarding training.
I have experience of working with all early years ages from birth up to leaving to go to school, and beyond.
