As a creative and forward-thinking educator, I make learning enjoyable and engaging, adhering closely to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines. I blend teaching & learning with Montessori creativity , compassion, making sure each child feels at home while developing essential skills through fun and play.
Understanding the unique challenges faced by parents and carers, I cultivate a nurturing environment that celebrates diverse cultures and individual observations. Through collaborative efforts, we help children achieve their age-appropriate milestones and uncover their hidden talents.
My Experience
With over 12 years of experience in education, public health, and school health & nutrition programs, coupled with the invaluable insights gained from raising my three children, I bring a wealth of knowledge and care to early years settings. My approach is playful yet disciplined, time-conscious, and deeply responsible, ensuring that every child thrives under appropriate guidance and supervision
Additionally, I offer expert technical and resource support to childminders, particularly during pre-registration and pre-Ofsted inspections, helping them achieve excellence in their practice.

It was so stressful looking for childcare short notice and I was so picky because my daughter is so young (10 months ) I had to make sure she was at a great place . Susan is so lovely and flexible, her home is a perfect, safe and educational for children and my daughter is thriving and she’s been only going for a month :). I get so much updates of my daughter and it puts a smile on my face . I never worry about her when I'm at work , she’s in great care with lots of happy children. I highly recommend her services . We’re very grateful for Susan’s services which she has carefully and wholeheartedly delivered throughout the time our twins boys were in her care. Our boys progressed daily and truly found a second home within Susan’s setting, and we are certain they will keep wonderful memories from their 2+ years there.
Susan is diligent, trustworthy, kind, caring and professional in every way. She is affectionate with children and truly invested in her work, the passion she has for her calling is palpable! It has been such a relief to know that we could always count of Susan to provide the best and safest care to our boys 4 days a week, and we recommend the Mini Beulah Academy to everyone.
Thank you Susan for an incredible and memorable adventure, we sure will miss you, as will our boys.

Susan has been truly amazing these past 3 years. Her dedication to cleanliness is evident from the moment you walk through the door; every corner is immaculate, creating a safe and hygienic environment for the children. Safety is clearly a top priority, as evidenced by her meticulous attention to detail in both indoor and outdoor play areas, ensuring all potential hazards are mitigated.
What truly sets her apart is her unwavering commitment to the well-being of each child. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure they feel valued, secure, and happy. This nurturing atmosphere allows the children to thrive, knowing they are in caring and capable hands. Her flexibility is always something I’m grateful for as a student and working mom.
Additionally, the variety of activities she provides is fantastic. From creative arts and crafts to stimulating educational games and outdoor adventures, there is always something new and exciting for the children to engage in. This diverse range of activities not only keeps them entertained but also promotes their overall development. In short, she has been exceptional in every aspect – cleanliness, safety, child well-being, and activity variety. As parents, we couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives.

My children has been attending Susan's setting for 4 years now, Susan is very welcoming, friendly and gently with the children, they really enjoy it there sometimes they ask to go there on days outside the setting as we live across the road, Susan has a real love and passion for the children and makes an effort to plan work for them even after their school work, she sends me report with feedback of their progress, she even offers to help my son with his homework in out of setting hours as she is a qualified teacher, I recieve updates everyday of activities and any revelant information I need to know. I am really impressed with that Susan's make for the children not just seeing work as babysitting but making sure there is progress in their education. Susan work is of a professional standard in my opinion.

Both my girls started with Susana nearly a year ago now, aged 2 & 5y/o. They both took to the setting really well. Both love attending & never want to leave when it’s home time. Susana is extremely friendly, flexible and attentive, always willing to help last minute if needed. A number of activities are planned throughout the day, including local trips. Updates throughout the day are given. Hygiene and cleanliness is 10/10. A variety of meal options are also available. Both my kids are fed 3 meals a day, plus snacks. Have definitely recommended to people if they live locally to the setting :)

Susan is a very nice and well organized child minder, my three children loved her place so much,it was a short term visit but my children want to go there again.she is really friendly with children.she is very understanding,polite and well behaved.i cant say enough thank of her.highly recommend to other parents.

We met with Susan and visited her home when looking for a Childminder. During our short visit my Daughter really warmed to Susan. My Daughter is usually very shy but Susan was so welcoming that my Daughter was soon comfortable enough to explore the environment and enjoy the toys. Susan clearly has a natural connection with children. What is also clear is that Susan is very diligent in her work. She plans a selection of fun activities each day and the meal plans are well considered. We didn't end up using Susan in the end as she is a little too far out of the way on my journey to work. I wish her all the best and know she will do a great job for many children and families.

Susan is exceptional! My son always wants to stay and doesn't want to go home. She takes deligent care of your child, ensuring that their functional skills are developed and improved in a fun and encouraging environment. Very reliable, patient and understanding. Would definitely recommend other mums to her. 😊
