My Summary

My Experience

I have over 8 years experience as a Foster Carer and, during that time, I looked after newborn babies and toddlers who were sometimes with us for over 2 years until they were adopted or occasionally returned home.

As a Foster Carer, I attended many training courses to further my knowledge which included managing difficult behaviours, first aid and many more.

I have also worked for 3 years as a Learning Support Assistant in 2 primary schools working one-to-one with children who have special needs.

I have an enhanced DBS and a full driving licence.

I have experience as a Carer supporting clients with physical disabilities.

Before lockdown in 2020, I was working with two families before and after school. One of the families had a young disabled child.

During the school holidays of 2021, I worked with a family with two children aged 18 months and 5 years old.

I am currently working two days a week with a family looking after their 3 year old son which I am really enjoying.

I am looking for childcare that would fit around these two days.

Since lockdown, I have attended a remote training course, An Introduction to First Aid for Mental Health,which I found very interesting.

• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
