Wonderful variety

We’re so thankful to Jo for looking after our son. She’s offered a wonderful variety of opportunities. It was without doubt the best setting for him. He’s very active and loves being out and about and every visit had a trip out somewhere. Trips included museums, parks, soft play, hills, farms etc. We felt this was a great choice for him as previously he’d only been looked after by family and so a small setting was a great choice. We had daily WhatsApp’s with photos of things he’d been up to and updates throughout the day. He’ll miss his time there and we would fully recommend Jo to any family. She has a lovely way with children and we felt confident and happy leaving him in her care. Thank you for all you did for him Jo!

Exceptional Child care

Jo has looked after all three of our girls from baby to pre school age and I can’t speak highly enough of her. There’s a reason she’s always fully booked! Always out and about with the children, always professional yet warm and welcoming. A lunch time update with photos of smiley happy children was always so welcomed and lovely. My children absolutely adored Jo, her house was super well equipped and always exciting things to do. They always came home with artwork or a creative masterpiece of something current that they’d learnt about. Our girls absolutely flourished with Jo and I’m just sad they had to grow up and go to school! Thank you so much for the wonderful 8 years we had with you! The girls will always such fond memories of a wonderful childminder.

Best of the best

Jo is an outstanding childminder. My daughter Myla absolutely loves her and although she is excited to start school, she is so sad to leave her JoJo! Every day Jo offers something different to keep them entertained whether it be going on days out, sports days or rainy day crafts. Myla was never bored and couldn’t wait to go every day!
Jo is friendly, kind, caring and always flexible and happy to help with my last minute work schedule changes wherever she could.
I cannot recommend Jo enough! Thank you Jo for being part of Myla’s journey xx

Their is a reason Jo is fully booked

My daughter (11mths) has been minded by Jo for the last month on a part time basis. Jo is professional yet warm. Her communication is open and clear. Her setting is ideal for my little adventurer. I know that my daughter gets very dedicated care with Jo, and she takes on board any worries/concerns/requests from me in how best to care for/encourage my daughter particularly around new skill acquisition (drinking from cups) Jo is very patient with parents and her charges alike! My daughter really enjoys her sessions with Jo, I am
Particularly pleased that she takes them out regularly so they get experiences - developing them holistically as parents would like to do. I also know Jo pays impressive attention to my daughter and notes as soon as I do when a new word is acquired and when her interests develop and change. I can unreservedly recommend her & her wonderful setting. The mix of ages really pleases my daughter and I’m sure it’s developing her wonderfully - it’s very much a family setting. Jo’s long experience with children is evident and the children really benefit from her passion & enthusiasm for fun & learning.

Amazing Childminder!!!

Jo looked after our little boy for a year, We was SO sad to pull him out but it was only down to having another baby and a change of plan with me not going back to work, so for more financial reasons.
Being a lockdown baby our little man is never without me or his Daddy, so going to Jo was huge for him as he rarely is left with grandparents either, but he absolutely loved going with her and on their adventures, Jo takes them out all the time, and if she doesn’t they are always so busy at her house, she has a beautiful home with a wonderful garden and lots of lovely clean toys to keep the children busy.
Nothing looks tired or run down like some other settings I’ve seen.
I was always reluctant to use childminders as my eldest always went to a nursery and I thought they was better but I was so wrong, it’s a home from home, even her girls were really good with my son. I will also say Jo is absolutely fantastic at taking them out and they all behave and listen to her in public and I would say it massively helped our little one when we take him out especially with things like holding hands.
She also keeps you updated throughout the day with pictures on what they’ve been up to, and it’s lovely to see and used to make my day whilst I was working.
Another lovely touch is the fact she goes the extra mile for their birthdays & Christmas’s with a little gift when she doesn’t have to!
We will miss sending Finn to Jo immensely, she’s an incredible trustworthy childminder and your children will be extremely lucky to have her looking after them xx
