Hello,
I love children and always have! I think it’s extremely important to care for their emotional and physical needs especially in the early years as this shapes them as a person. I like to become part of the family as much as is needed. I like to include outdoor exploration and educational play as I spend time with the children. I come from a big family and have always had a motherly instinct and I continue to enjoy the company of young ones today. I have 10 years experience working with many families. This includes caring for those with disabilities such as Down’s syndrome and spina bífida.

I have experience with newborns to young teenagers. Enhanced DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained
My Qualifications
I have had experience in a nursery but I prefer the household setting and freedom to go outside with the children. I love giving the children a strong sense of family values and security.

Roxanne became part of our family in February 2022 and has looked after our now two-and-a-half-year-old son for almost a year now.
When my husband and I moved to Wallingford in December 2021, we had a childcare gap, due to the local nursery being in high demand, and both of us working. We started looking for a Nanny and when we met Roxanne, we felt she was such a good fit for our family; and bonded quickly with our son.
As well as being calm, measured and extremely reliable, Roxanne is highly intelligent, energetic, kind and spirited. Our son is an only child and we couldn't imagine leaving him with anyone more experienced and capable. She looks for activities to engage him in - such as gymnastics, play groups, walks and farm park trips - and nurtures his development with singing, reading and arts & crafts.
Roxanne follows our routine and always keeps us up-to-date on anything she thinks we might like to know or be consulted about. She’s firm but very loving with our son and leads by example.
For purely financial reasons, we've had to terminate our contract with her and feel really sad about her departure. However, we know she'll make another new family just as happy and we'll certainly be keeping in touch. We can't recommend her highly enough.

Roxanne is a fantastic nanny. You can clearly see that she loves children and my son who only met her once was comfortable with her straight away and had a great time with her. I found that she was very nurturing and asked lots of questions about my son’s routine. I highly recommend her as a nanny!
