My Experience

With 10 years of experience working with children, my passion continues to burn brightly! Each day brings new adventures and opportunities to inspire children, along with getting the amazing opportunity to see children's big smiles on their faces, to see their development and skills grow!

I’ve had the pleasure of working in a variety of settings, from nurseries and schools to being a part-time nanny and children’s sports coach, where I’ve led sessions in nurseries, schools, and holiday camps.

My journey in childcare began with completing my Level 3 in Childcare and Education, culminating in a degree in Childhood and Early Years Studies from Northumbria University.

During my studies, I embraced diverse placements in three nurseries and one primary school, creating wonderful relationships with children, parents, and staff alike. In fact, I was thrilled when three of these settings invited me back to work for them during the summer months to continue nurturing those connections!

After I graduate, I dove headfirst into my role as a full-time Rugbytots coach in the North East. I loved every moment spent teaching children the importance and excitement of being active, all while creating a fun and engaging learning environment. Alongside this, I nannied for a lovely family, managing school runs and providing evening care, which further enriched my experience.

When the uncertainty of COVID-19 prompted a move back to Lincoln, I seized the opportunity to launch my own Rugbytots franchise. For three incredible years, I thrived in this role, and it was an absolute joy to watch children grow and develop through sport!

Eventually, I made the bittersweet decision to leave my Rugbytots journey behind in Lincoln to support my partner's career move to London. There, I embraced a new chapter as a Munchkin Sports Coach, where I introduced a variety of sports—including football, hockey, and tennis—in schools. I also managed holiday camps, where I not only led fun activities but also provided every day care, catering to all children's needs and making their days as fun as possible. This gave me the opportunity to work with children aged 3-11 year olds.

Having gained so much experience in London, I now feel a strong pull to return to Lincoln and the beauty of the countryside. I'm eager to continue my journey working with children and bringing my enthusiasm for learning and activity back roots. I am experienced with working with 0-11 year olds
