My Experience
Hello! I’m a CQC Registered Manager for a Mental Health organisation and Public Health, with over 20 years of experience supporting adults, children, and families across housing, mental health, and education services. I’ve worked closely with schools and families throughout Staffordshire to ensure children and parents receive the right support, care, and guidance.
I have extensive experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). I understand the importance of creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual needs, and I’m passionate about helping them thrive.
As both a professional and a parent, I offer more than just childcare, I provide holistic family support. Whether you’re navigating mental health concerns, housing issues, healthy lifestyle support, or need financial guidance, I’m here to help. My support extends beyond the child to the whole household.
Availability:
• From September onwards: Monday to Friday, early morning until 2:30pm
• Current hours: Weekday evenings (from 7pm) & Weekend evenings (from 7pm)
• Weekend daytime care also available — children are welcome to be dropped off at my home, where they’ll be safe, engaged, and well cared for. Meals included!
Qualifications & Safeguarding:
• CQC Registered (Mental Health)
• Enhanced DBS (Adults & Children)
• First Aid Certified (St. John’s Ambulance)
• Full UK clean driving licence
• SEN and Autism experience
• Professional references and additional documentation available upon request

Ruby looked after my 3 year old daughter for a couple of hours one evening. It is the first time we have used a Babysitter other than grandparents. Ruby was so professional, knowledgeable with regards child care & children's needs & caring. My 3 year old took to Ruby straight away & felt safe and comfortable with her. Ruby gave myself regular updates during the evening which was so reassuring. I would highly recommend her & would be utilising her babysitting services again.

Ruby is very professional and kind. She takes care of 2 of my children, 1 which is autism. She has lots of experience which I noticed when she looks after my children. She responds to her messages on time. If most babysitter and Nannies can show a bit of kindness, compassion and professionalism that Ruby has, that would support working parents and single parents and make their lives easier. I felt so comfortable with her and she goes above and beyond to satisfy me. I wish I could have her to babysit my children for more hours when am at work.
I would highly recommend Ruby!

Ruby is amazing, she looks after my 3 children one of whom is autistic. The children LOVE her and so do we!! Ruby is so kind and caring and sends regular updates for us, she even tidies up for us while we are out! We’d be lost without her!!! We 100% highly recommend Ruby!!

Ruby has looked after my two daughters and they both absolutely love being in her care. Kids were provided with fresh snacks and lots of toys to play with. Highly recommended :)

Ruby was fantastic when looking after my little boy. She accommodated my little one at last minute and is very good at letting you know how they are getting on. She was very welcoming and very happy to help. I will defiantly be using Ruby again and would 100% recommend her to friends and family

Outstanding
Ruby was able to accommodate my son at short notice and my son told me how much he enjoyed himself and asked when he could go back there. My son has always been very hard work and negative about every childminder and family member who has looked after him. Ruby is a lovely person and has great skills and is the only childminder has kept my son happy and entertained. Look no further, I would highly recommend Ruby and I'll always be happy to use the service again.

Rubine is a super hard working, caring friendly and dedicated lady.
She blew me away totally.
She not only took care of my 2year old daughter so well but made sure the house was conducive and safe. She cleaned and kept things well.
She even made some desert and lunch for me.
I'm still hoping we work together some more.
I will definitely recommend her any day.

Ruby has been babysitting my 2 toddlers girls for almost 2 weeks and she is doing such a wonderful job. She is very helpful around the house as well, folding my overdue laundry or cleaning food stains off the carpet 😅
My 2 little girls adore her and you can tell she loves them too.
She is also incredibly kind and a very good listener, sometimes I just vent without end and she patiently listens and gives me good advice.
She sends me regular updates while I’m working to ease my mind and she even picked up some calpol when i ran out.
Little things like this show how much commitment she has towards not only caring for the children but for their parents as well.
I couldn’t recommend her enough!

We used Rubine with our 2 kids aged 1 and 6 years old. The whole experience went very smoothly with all the paperwork and activities/mean plans plus was stress free when she had the kids. This enabled us to enjoy being away without worries as we knew that she could be trusted and kept us to date with anything that needed clarifying. We will certainly be using her again and couldn't recommend her enough. Truly amazing with the kids. Thanks so much again Rubine and much appreciated.
