My Summary
About Me
I provide a safe home environment putting each child’s needs at the centre of their care. I aim to provide new and exciting experiences developing their knowledge and understanding of the world. I hold memberships at Burghley House, Sacrawell Farm and Belton House, these are regular places that we visit. We also visit local parks, Ferry Meadows, The Spinney, Woodlands and join various forest schools. At home we enjoy messy play, baking, arts and crafts and playing with the wide range of toys that I have available. I have a large garden which the children enjoy exploring. I have a family of my own. My husband James and our three children Imogen aged 15years, Harry 13years and Harper 2 years.

I have been a childminder for the past 4 years previously I worked as a nurse and then moved onto teaching sign language.

Not just a childminder... to be able to trust someone with your child is huge. I can honestly say it's like leaving my child with a a family member. A lovely family. Extremely well resourced, amazing outdoor space and previous to lockdowns they were on days out to Farms/parks/toddler groups and this has started happening again. Never a dull day. With low ratio of children you child gets the social time of others but quality time with an adult too. Both my children have been and when my smallest leaves I will be gutted.

Katherine has been looking after our little girl since she was nine months old. Our daughter settled extremely well and really enjoys her days with Katherine.
Katherine provides a wonderful home-from-home environment, with a huge range of toys and play equipment. Painting and crafts feature frequently on the agenda as do trips to playgroups, farms and outdoor play areas.
We would unhesitatingly recommend Katherine to anyone who is looking for a safe and welcoming environment where their child will have lots of social interaction and fun filled days and adventures.

My little boy has been with Kat since 2018. He has had the best time. Trips out to farms, woods, parks playgroups etc. Also lots of crafts and fun games. They do not stay still. Learnt so much. Like home from home. Couldn't of asked for anyone better. Very sad that it's time for him start school in September.
Your child will have the best time in a very safe environment, and have some great adventures. ❤ x
