About Us

At Central Park Nursery we are proud to have achieved a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted and we were awarded 5 stars by Environmental Health. We pride ourselves on having strong relationships with the children who attend the setting and their parents. We firmly believe that parent partnerships are essential for the development and wellbeing of all children. We strive to improve the service we provide and work hard to build long lasting relationships with parents and children. We offer flexible sessions where possible and work closely with outside agencies to ensure that all children’s needs are supported effectively and that they are nurtured holistically. This can include services such as Speech and Language therapy, Makaton and translators if needed when children speak English as an additional Language. We believe in creating an environment where children can learn and play while being supported by experienced, knowledgeable practitioners in an environment which encourages challenges and possibilities for all. We offer a wide range of experiences following the EYFS and have additional facilities such as a ball pool, forest school, outside areas and interactive tables. We feel these encourage the children to try new things, improve their confidence and also support them in gaining valuable skills for life. We have regular visitors who come into nursery from the local community such as the police, fire men, guide dogs which are enjoyed by all. We also run events throughout the year in support of Telford Crisis support, Barnardos, and Children in need to support the children’s understanding of the world.
