My Requirements

English / Kiwi couple based in SW18 looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced after school nanny to collect and take care of twins after school.

You will be naturally enthusiastic, cheerful, nurturing and have good common sense to build a safe and warm environment, with good communication skills. You will be an advocate of positive discipline, who enjoys the daily adventures of engaging and guiding school-age children through their development. You will have experience of young primary school age children with the knowledge and gravitas to keep them engaged and entertained with age-appropriate activities, with minimal ongoing direction.

Working hours required will be term time: 2.30 / 3 to 6.30 / 7 pm

Non-term time hours can be discussed (very happy for 2-3 full days for someone experienced and confident in providing full day care).

Responsibilities to include e.g.
• Collect from local school (under 10-minute walk)
• Taking to after school classes (swimming / acting)
• Light homework (phonics sheet)
• Set-up activities (crafts, art, baking etc)
• Meal planning
• Tidying and laundry related to the children

Preferred:
• Paediatric first aid (for permanent position will fund a 1-day course)
• DBS criminal record check

20 hours per week, with out of term time hours upon discussion.

Up to 45,000k PA pro rata (based on a 50-hour week).
