Hey, I’m Cate. I have three years of au pair/nanny experience.
I’m open-minded and very patient. I enjoy working in dynamic environments, and welcome the challenges working with children may bring.
I enjoy the reading and the outdoors, and I always encourage imaginative play (especially outside) with the children.
I’m a licensed driver with access to a car so commuting will not be an issue.
My Experience
I have been fortunate enough to care for children of various ages, ranging from 12 months to 17 years.
During my gap year, I worked as an au pair for a family in the Channel Islands. I looked after two sets of twins--all under the age of 5! I also worked as a nanny for a local family during my undergrad degree.
Between university terms, I also worked as a counsellor for an international summer school.
My Qualifications
I have completed a paediatric first aid course and I am DBS checked.
I’m due to finish my MA degree from Leicester University this September. I completed my undergrad at Oxford University.
