About Me
My name is Shumi, I have worked in nurseries and baby sitting/nanny.
I believe early education is essential, therefore I teach children through toys, singing, educational activities, play dates with their piers and reading.
All children are different and develop at their own pace therefore I adapt my teaching to match the child’s ability.
As important as learning is, it’s equally important for children to have fun. I like to strike a healthy balance between the two.
I enjoy discovering what your area has to offer in terms of activities for children and getting to know other nannies in the area who are looking after children the same age in order to organise play-dates. I believe it’s important for children to be around their piers.
* Services I can offer* > nappy changing, *light housework if required* playing with children, bathing/changing, feeding, tutoring/helping with homework, reading storybooks.
I can come to your house for babysit or you can drop off my house or I can pick up.

Shumi provided after school care for our 4 year old. Including school collection, making dinner, bath and bedtime. She was a joy to have around and was very caring and patient with our 4 year old. I would highly recommend Shumi.
