About Me
We live in Bishopston and have 5 and 9 year-old boys. They are active, social and fun boys. The youngest is cheerful and easy-going, while the eldest is creative and enthusiastic. They both love seeing friends and having playdates, animals (the eldest loves horse-riding), arts and crafts, baking, soft play. The youngest is learning Chinese!
The oldest is at the Downs Prep school (Wraxall) and the youngest is at Bishop Road. I am a university teacher and my husband is a Business Manager.
My Requirements
Hi! We are looking for a calm, caring and responsible childcarer from September - helping our 9-year-old with school pick ups and childcare. A car driver with own car is needed for our role. We are happy to pay a significantly higher rate for this role for the right person, due to the low hours (negotiable, in the region of £20/hour depending on experience), plus expenses for petrol.
The start date is September and the working hours will ideally be Tuesday (4 to 6pm) and Wednesday (4 to 6pm). It involves picking up our son from his school in Wraxall at 4.30pm (we'd pay travel time there from Bristol from 4pm), driving him home to us, then helping with the routine e.g. dinner, plus some homework.
Very rarely, pick-up could be 30 minutes later on Wednesdays if there's a sports match, so some flexibility would be great.
