About Me
Hi, I’m Racheal. I’m an Ofsted registered childminder and I run Cherry Tree Childminding on Cherry Tree road Huyton just off Tarbock road. I live with my partner Craig and 2 little girls, 7 year old Nellie and 5 year old Felicity. I am currently lucky enough to be full to capacity but have spaces opening for SEPTEMBER 2025.
I offer a home from home experience for your child and a wide range of activities. We spend a lot of our time being outdoors and we enjoy our days out to local parks, museums, safari park, libraries as well as activities within the home/ garden.
I’m within walking distance of St Anne’s and Blacklow Brow schools and offer school drop offs and pick ups.
My Experience
I have now been childminding since March 2020 and currently have experience of minding children ages 4 months- 10 years. Even though this is only a short time compared to others I have gained fantastic experience so far and am looking forward to gaining even more.

My current hours are between 07:30-17:30 Monday- Friday.
I am currently full but have spaces opening for September 2025
I work all year round excluding family holidays and bank holidays.

Racheal is an amazing childminder, friendly, reliable, caring and was so good with my daughter. She was accommodating with drop off and pick ups, sometimes I would pick up from her home other times I would meet her at school while picking my other child up. My daughter loved spending time with Rachael and doing lots of fun activities and going on adventures with the other children.
She was brilliant at communicating through the day with updates and pictures of what they had been up to, holidays were always communicated well advance too so I could get organised.

Racheal is fantastic, she is so kind and caring we were right to choose her to look after our son. We had never left our little boy with anyone before so were a bit apprehensive, once we met her though we felt happy leaving him. We had some tears when we dropped him off but Racheal with fantastic, messaging me to say he was fine which really put our mind at ease.
Racheal's House is lovely, its very secure and welcoming. Very clean and tidy too, the playroom is fantastic and filled with so many toys for all ages. We liked how the children are free to wander around and go into the living room too, this is why we chose a childminder and not a nursery as many are just on one room.
Just as he was starting to settle down it was his time to leave to go to school nursery, he has absolutely loved being at Racheal's and we will miss her and her beautiful girls so much.
We would highly recommend Racheal to other parents, she is such a lovely person who makes you feel at ease and knows what she is doing in the world of childminding.
