About Me
I am naturally a nurturing child carer with a genuine interest in childrens social, emotional and personal development.
Vee's Bees ethos...
Bee Happy - mind, body and soul
Bee kind - to each other and ourselves
Bee curious - exploring and learning
Bee brave - trying new things
Bee You - pride in yourself and your culture. Confident and true
I have developed a home nursery/ play space both indoor and outdoor for children aged 0 upwards and happy to share any information and discuss requirements as I'm very flexible.
My indoor space is a dedicated area for learning, playing and growing using EYFS standards throughout the setting.
The garden is also fully equipped to provide children with a wide variety of experiences which promotes learning through play and includes a playhouse, trampoline and a purpose built mud kitchen. I will also be developing a growing garden with the children which is really exciting.
All children will also have regular development checks completed and assigned a key worker again following EYFS guidelines.
I provide all meals, daily outings and weekly trips further afield to extend children's learning and provide them with rich, exciting experiences everyday they are with me.
I am a mum of 2 children aged 12 and 7 and have lived in the Hertfordshire for 11 years, originally coming from South London.
I am a part time face painter and have a successful weekend business in this field for the last 8 years so I love being creative.
My Experience
I was a senior youth worker for nearly 20 years and left my profession to concentrate on my family and developing my own business in childminding.
Prior to bring a youth worker I trained as a nursery nurse for a year before going into full-time employment in local nurseries for a further 5 years.
I have 1 primary aged child and 1 secondary aged child of my own who has AuDHD so have lots of experience and training in this field.

I can’t praise Vikki enough. My children love going to Vikki’s! Honestly, while I’m at work and get photos of their daily outings I wish I was at the childminders as well!
