About Me
I am an ofsted registered first aid trained childminder located in Sherborne Fields, Basingstoke, close to the hospital. We have a family home with garden and lots of indoor and outdoor toys, we enjoy lots of crafts, play activities, messy play, trips to the woods and many parks surrounding us. I can pick up from St Bedes Primary School.
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own, 6 year old twin girls and a 2 year old girl. I have been a childminder for 5 years and love it!

I will be available mainly Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays 8-5 and Thursdays 8-3 but again can be flexible upon discussion, can start from 7. Happy to do extra time during school holidays or for older siblings or do term times only if required.

Gemma is a great childminder, she has been taking care of our daughter since she was 10 months and she loves it there. She's very organised, she plans activities for children every day and her communication with parents is amazing. She supports children throughout their developmental milestones through playing and activities. Highly recommended.

Lucas went to Gemma’s 2 days a week, and loved it! Gemma is so reliable and creates and amazing environment for the children to play in, plus does so many different activities with them through out the day! I felt so comfortable leaving Lucas there, really safe and he always came home super happy, he really loved being there!

Gemma looked after my daughter from 10 months old to 2.5 years old. My daughter literally used to run to Gemmas door so excited to see her every morning which was so lovely and reassuring.
Gemma is very friendly, flexible and fantastic with children. I received updates and photos in the day which were lovely. My little one was outside in the fresh air a lot which she loved.
Gemma’s home is spotless and my little ones clothes and face were always spotless on pick-up which I found very impressive !
Gemma was also very accommodating on providing some additional hours here and there when I had additional meetings at work etc
It’s very reassuring leaving my little one with someone so nice, professional and reliable. Generally had no worries whilst my daughter was there and was able to focus fully on my work at the hospital without distraction.
I only stopped sending my daughter to Gemma as I went on maternity leave and my little one and I were genuinely very sad to say goodbye.
Couldn’t recommend Gemma enough !

Gemma looked after my son for a few months while I worked and he absolutely loved it, Gemma was very informative with what he done in his day, she made sure he napped when he needed to. Had plenty of toys and games for him to play. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!
