About Me
I'm a nanny in Bristol looking for a lovely new family to care for part-time. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in March and am now looking to return to work following my maternity leave ending. I’m offering my services at a significant discount to be able to care for both my child and yours together. She’s a very happy and settled baby and loves spending time with other children. I have vast amounts of experience caring for multiple children of all ages as a nanny, having worked with many families including twins and larger sibling age gaps. I have 10+ years of childcare experience and nannied professionally in Bristol for 5+ years. I have also worked in childminding and various nurseries, giving me a large range of experience with all types of families.
Additionally, I graduated a few years ago from a law degree and am passionate about advocacy and supporting children as they develop. I have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny in Bristol for the past 5 years. Alongside this, I also worked as a childminding assistant for 5+ years and have worked in various nurseries in and surrounding Bristol. I have worked all over Bristol and south Gloucestershire giving me a thorough knowledge of many local transport routes, toddler groups and other child centred activities. Additionally, I have volunteered as a one-to-one carer for holiday camps as well as toddler groups which I helped run. This has given me vast amounts of experience from a young age and allowed me to care for a broad range of families and children. I have significant experience with children with additional needs and am confident in looking after children whose ages range from birth to early teens. As a part of previous roles, I have coordinated between parents and schools to support children with their individual learning requirements.
I hold a current full Paediatric First Aid Certificate and I am also DBS checked. Whilst childminding, all of my registration and safety checks were done through Ofsted. In addition to this, I have enhanced my knowledge by undertaking training courses including Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and FGM Awareness.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS for childcare on the update service and I hold a current full Paediatric First-Aid Certificate. I have also undertaken several training courses including Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and FGM Awareness.
My Availability
Due to my daughter’s age and sleep patterns, I won’t be available for any days longer than 8 hours as the time plus travel would be too overwhelming for her. I am available any days Monday-Friday from 8-5/5.30 I can be flexible with start times, but cannot start any earlier than 8am or finish later than 5.30 pm.
