About Me
Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Church Crookham. I live with my husband, our three children (aged 15, 8 and 6), and our cavapoo dog.
Previous to childminding, I had worked in nurseries for 7 years. After having my youngest, I decided that rather than going back to the nursery, I would bring the “childcare” to me.
One of my main priorities is to do everything I can to make sure that each and every child is happy and at feels at home. We spend our time together exploring the woods at the back of our house, visiting playparks, getting competitive with some of our games, drawing/painting/crafts, baking home made cakes/pizzas etc. In the winter time we have hot chocolates, talent shows, movie evenings etc. In the Summer time we have water fights and build dens. I always make sure there is something for everyone, and that each child leaves with a big smile on their face from having a great time.
I accept childcare vouchers & tax free childcare.
We live in a smoke free home.

My Availability
Term time only.
For EYFS children -
Monday to Wednesday.
For wrap around care -
Monday to Friday from 7.30AM to school drop off
Monday to Friday from school pickup until 5.30PM
I cover Tweseldown Infants School and Church Crookham Juniors School.

My son has been going to Charlotte all through his years at Tweseldown Infant School. Charlotte goes above and beyond organising fun activities such as Hamma beads, baking, games and loads of outdoor play! We are really going to miss you, Charlotte!

Charlotte really helped us in our time of need. New to the UK we had no support system. Charlotte was flexible and worked around our changing schedule. My son was more than happy to go Charlotte. He loved going to the park and playing football in Charlotte’s garden.

I highly recommend Charlotte. My kids went to her and from day one they adapted so easily to her and her lovely homely environment. To us we felt it was home away from home for the kids. My kids kept on mentioning how much they missed her during lockdown. To me that shows that she is able to bond with the kids. She always had different activities arranged for my kids each day and my kids loved her different variety of board games. My kids spent time playing and interacting and not in front of a screen which I found was important. My kids love her and speak of her fondly.

What can I say about Charlotte other than she is pretty amazing and perfect for my children. She has opened her home with loving arms to them and ensured that their every need is met. They go in every day with excitement as to what activities she has planned for them, and with having 3 very different personalities to work with, she is able to cater to their interests.

Charlotte is kind, caring and genuinely cares about the children that she looks after. She’s professional but at the same time you know your children feel at home with her. My bits absolutely love going to play with her and her lovely family.
