My Summary
About Me
I am a career nanny who has 26 years of experience in the childcare industry, including managing a nursery in London.
I’ve been a nanny for many years since then, and I have a Level 3 in childcare and development qualification (please see below for more certificates I hold), and I am the mummy of two older school-aged children.
I have worked for high-profile VIP and UHNW families in fully staffed households and have previously been employed by Emirati families, meaning I am respectful of their cultures and customs.
I cover East Kilbride, Glasgow City, and surrounding areas: Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Busby, Eaglesham, Thorntonhall, and Bothwell. London and overseas positions may be considered.
I am particularly interested in maternity, night nanny, and rota maternity/nanny roles; however, other roles may be considered.
I’m active and enjoy being outdoors and exploring new places.
I can cook organic nutritional meals and promote healthy eating and lifestyles. (with room for treats).
I have attended classes to promote exploration of stories, themes, characters, language, and creative movement in the form of music or drama. I take the kids to parks, where we feed the ducks, to the library, swim, and play in the soft play area.
The children and I participate in many activities, including sensory activities, messy play, baking, arts and crafts, sticky kids activities, and reading books, to name a few. I can do some basic sign language with the children (if you would like me to) and have found it very useful, as both my girls could sign before they could talk. This helped to reduce their frustration and made them happier, as they could let me know what they wanted.
These are some of the activities we like to participate in or attend on a weekly or monthly basis:
Farms, library visits, meet-ups with other children for play days, arts and crafts, baking, outdoor play/park, or children's centre, puzzles, reading books, messy play, swimming, sensory/messy play, gym, and music classes.
As you can see, we get around and keep busy, so I will happily take your child or children out and about, as well as stay at home to do fun educational age-appropriate activities and play. I treat all children as if they were my own, however, without crossing professional boundaries.
My Experience
I managed a 70-place nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years for 3 years. In this role, I followed all OFSTED requirements, including ensuring planning to ensure children developed by following the EYFS guidelines. I ensured all children were kept safe by ensuring staff were following our policies and procedures and communicating with parents on a daily basis. After 4 months of the nursery being opened, we received an Ofsted rating of "good" in all areas, even though I was only in the position for 2 months. I am very safety-conscious and mentally risk-aware in situations and environments.
As a nanny, I would do all duties discussed and agreed upon by the parents and myself to form a strong working relationship. Attend groups, swim, bake, teach the children, play, read a book, wean, do toilet training, dress or bathe them (if required within a nanny position), and walk to and from school, to name a few tasks I’ve carried out.
I have experience working with a child who had complex medical needs. They required the following care, and my duties included:
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Gastronomy feeding and vesicostomy care
• Neurorehab care, manual and hoist handling, and carrying out his physiotherapy exercises
• Observing him overnight, ensuring he maintained his temperature, and recording his Pacemaker results
• relaying information to the parents and other staff members
• Carrying out all other childcare-related duties and babysitting
I have nannied babies of differing ages, from newborns to teenagers.
I have nannied a little girl before and after nursery. I carried out all duties to get her ready for nursery, and I would walk with her to nursery, and then I would start work at the nursery. I would take her home, feed her dinner, and get her ready for bed. Occasionally, I would babysit as well and start at 5.30 a.m.
I have proxy-parented before, and I’ve supported a client with a newborn premature infant with a cup feeding and sleep routine within a night nanny role.
I nannied a little boy aged 1 and another boy aged 11 months, as agreed with the parents, for 1 1/2 years as a temporary nanny. The parents wanted more of a 1-2 ratio for their children.
Weekend nanny/proxy parent for 3 children aged 6 months, 2 years, and 5 years (and additionally, my two children participated as well).
I have worked antisocial hours and can stay overnight (proxy parenting) when required, for a 7 and 13 year old, helping them with homework, taking the 7 year old to afterschool activities and assisting with school projects.
I have worked as a Rota Medical Night Nanny/PA. I have training in tracheostomy care and suctioning, gastronomy feeding, vesicostomy care, neurorehab, manual and hoist handling, physiotherapy exercises, observations, and recording Pacemaker results.
I have nannied babies, sibling groups, triplets, assisted care for premature babies, and children with special educational, medical, and additional needs. I have cared for children with cow milk protein allergies and children with severe dairy, egg, nuts, and tuna allergies who require an Epipen to be kept with them at all times.
I’ve worked antisocial hours starting at 4.30am and have finished at 10/11pm in the evening. I have worked with same-sex couples before. These are just some of the experiences and positions I have held in the past, and I can provide my CV for a more in-depth breakdown of my working history.
I truly love my job!
I feel and believe that my experience and commitment to children are second to none.
My Qualifications
I have a Maternity Level 5, NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Education, all relevant childcare qualifications, an enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid, and a clean UK driving licence.
I have embarked on both BSL Level 1 course.
Behaviour management, autism, ADHD, and a lot of 1-day course certificates.

Angelique joined us to help with our 20 week son at night who was feeding constantly and not sleeping. Angelique is very professional and we loved having her around. She built a fantastic bond with our son Seb over the 5 nights – it felt much longer – and she really helped me to rebuild my confidence and catch up on some sleep in what was a particularly exhausting time. With her help Seb started settling much better overnight and she implemented an effective schedule and method of settling him to allow me to get some much needed sleep and set us up for future success. She clearly really loves her job and is passionate about caring for babies. She is a loving and caring professional and I believe any family would be lucky to have her!
