Hello, my name is Linzie and I live in Ossett, Wakefield.
I offer a Nanny and babysitting service working from families own homes on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
I have personal and professional experience working with children from birth to 16 years old gained from working in a school and as a Nanny / babysitter.
I have completed Childcare qualifications, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training. I also have an Enhanced DBS Check with subscription to the Update Service.
Currently registered with Ofsted and fully insured. Able to accept Tax-Free Childcare, Universal Credit childcare element and Student Finance childcare element for those eligible.

This is the first time I’ve used a childminder, and as a single mum, I was really nervous — but Linzie has completely put my mind at ease. From the moment we met, she’s been calm, kind, and incredibly reassuring. My boys (4 and 5, and full of energy!) took to her straight away, which honestly says everything.
She just gets them — she knows how to keep them busy, safe, and happy, and she does it all with so much patience and warmth. Linzie is reliable, friendly, and so engaging with the kids. I couldn’t ask for more, and I feel so lucky to have found her. Highly, highly recommend!

Linzie has been absolutely fantastic with my kids and they adore her. She takes good care of them and keeps them engaged when with her. She also documents their day/activities to allow us to keep up with everything they have been up to during the day.

Linzie was punctual and provided a good service.
Our usually energetic 18-months old son was surprisingly calm and relaxed whenever Linzie visited. They would play, read and have meals all in a gentle atmosphere. Recommended.

Worked with Linzie for a while and my daughter enjoyed being looked after by her as Linzie understood her energy and had no problems engaging her in fun activities which she loved. If we didn’t have some stable arrangements in place now and I was still needing childcare support, I would call on Linzie again and again.

I have used linzie for over 4 years now. I have an almost 13 year old SEN child and a 4 year old.
The kids absolutely adore her, always ask to see her.
She is the best person to care for your child. I wouldn't pick anyone else.
She does so much with them, crafts, reading, playong, learning, feeding, takes them on walks, park visits, day trips (obviously if arranged and okay with parents).
You could not ask for a better childcare provider.
She goes out of her way to ensure your children AND you are comfortable and happy at all times.
I am a single mother and I couldn't do it without her help!
I highly recommend Linzie. I just had to leave a review to show a genuine mother who can't shout about how good she is.

My kids took to linzie right away, she was always on time and was available when I needed her with prior arrangement..the children loved having her there and I felt comfortable leaving her with my 5 kids the youngest been 1 . Her personality is exactly what the children needed very calm and welcoming , what children need been left with someone they don't know, but after afew visits they looked forward to her coming. I can't fault this lady at all and would recommend. She didn't drive but always got there

Advised the position included school runs therefore a driving licence was required as was not prepared to cover taxi fares.. so the lady wanted to invoice me for 10 hours each of the days at £15 per hour but only work 8 of the hours in order to cover taxi fares

Was due to message me re our requirements, ignored my messages and never got in touch.
Poor service not what you want when looking to hire reliable staff to assist with the care of you children.
