About Me
I am an Ofsted Outstanding registered childminder working from my home in Finchampstead, running Mad Hatter Childcare. I have two of my own children (8 and 10) and provide a fun and loving learning environment for all children. Please find my contact details on The Wokingham Borough Council Website.
My Experience
Before registering as a childminder myself, I have worked as a childminding assistant for 9 years, caring for children aged 6 weeks to 11 years. I have also worked in primary schools, day nurseries and children’s centres to gain a wide range of experience with children with a variety of needs and from many different backgrounds.
I am a qualified level 3 early years educator with an array of other childcare based qualifications. I am first aid trained and have an enhanced DBS certificate as well as lots of hands on experience both professionally and with my own children.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, level 3 award in preparing to work in a home based environment, Paediatric First aid, Child Protection, FGM Awareness, Food Hygiene and Safety, The Incredible Years- Parent Group Leader Training, and Child Self Regulation.
My Availability
I am open Tuesday- Thursday. I do not currently have availability.
I am available to provide care from 8am- 5:30pm and offer a minimum of an 8 hour day. I may provide care from 7:30am upon request.
