I’m 25 years old and currently a final-year biomedical science student. I’ve always loved working with children and find joy in helping them grow, learn, and thrive. As a Muslim, I value compassion, patience, and responsibility, which I bring into my role as a babysitter. I find this job incredibly rewarding as it allows me to create a positive and nurturing environment for children, while also contributing to their development and happiness
My Experience
I’ve gained experience working with a 4-year-old child, where I assisted with homework, organized fun and creative activities like drawing and painting, and ensured she felt safe and supported. I also helped her get ready for school and managed pick-ups and drop-offs. One of the enjoyable moments was taking her stationary shopping, where we picked out pencils, paints, colouring books. This experience taught me the importance of patience and consistency when working with children, helping me develop a calm and nurturing approach to childcare.
