My Summary

My Experience

For the last 3 years I have worked as an assistant psychologist, specialising in emotional disorders and children with learning disabilities. This has allowed me to be flexible in working with each child and given me a range of experience.

Throughout university I was a nanny to 3 children aged 3, 7 and 9 when I started working with them. The job included picking up and dropping off the children to school, organising engaging activities with them, including baking, going to the park, playing games ext. I would then prepare dinner for them and get them bathed and ready for bed. During my final year of school I also babysat for a 9 month old baby a couple of nights a month.

In addition to this I have previously worked in a nursery looking after 2 – 3-year-old children, this taught me the importance of being patient with children and really allowed me to develop my skills in keeping children entertained but in a productive way. While it was sometimes a hard task I really enjoyed teaching the children and seeing them improve throughout the months that I worked there.

I have also taught sailing to children throughout my summers. Allowing me to interact with children of all abilities and ages in a variety of situations.

My Qualifications

I am First aid trained and I have got a DBS check.

My Availability

I am available weekday evenings and weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

I usually charge between 12-15 pounds, but am happy to negotiate rates and timings.
