About Me
My name is Gladys, 41 and originally from Philippines. I used to be a teacher back home for couple of years teaching primary school pupils before I decided to work overseas as a Nanny. I started in the childcare industry in 2006 when i worked with young Chinese Family in Hong Kong. I moved on to working with British Family after 2 years of finished contract and was then relocated to the UK with the same British Family in 2010.
I have been working with few different families over the years since i came over to the UK and focusing on Childcare.
I’m a fun loving person who likes a good laugh and thinks that to be able to have a good employee-employer relationship is to have respect for each other. I’m a trustworthy person, very passionate about my work and I’m always seeking to provide added value with families I work with in terms of the support and guidance that i provide.
My Experience
I have 15 happy years of combined experience of working with different families most of them with new borns and children up until the age of 9.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Maternity Nurse that has achieved a highly credited training centre for childcare. I acquired my level 3 and 4 OCN Diploma as well as my Paediatric First Aid Training Course at Babyem recently.
