About Me
I am a dedicated hard worker that enjoys working with children! I am currently studying to be a primary teacher in Scotland. I enjoy spending my time outdoors and organising activities for the children I care for.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified early years practitioner, as I studied my HNC at Edinburgh College. I am also a student primary teacher.
I have worked at an after school club for 4 years, a nursery for the last two years and have also worked as a pupil support assistant at a primary school. As well as this I have babysat for four families in the past.
I also have just completed my second year working as a camp councellor to children ages 6-15 (children in my immediate care were 6-8 years olds) in America!
My Qualifications
I have:
First aid certificate
Food handling qualification
Asthma and allergy training
HNC in childhood practice
National 5 and higher SQA qualifications
Working towards my degree in primary education currently in my 3rd year.
All of my training is uploaded when required through my childcare jobs
I am also DBS checked and have been many times due to the different childcare roles I work at. This includes university, after school club, nursery and Camp America
My Availability
As I am a student teacher at university there will be months where I am not available due to placements. However while on placement I would still be available for evening/weekend babysitting
