About Me
I am currently working as a Nursing Associate in the NHS and a Community Responder in the Ambulance Service I am a mother of two, my older son has autism and sensory processing needs and my younger son has SPD needs; they both struggled with mainstream education. I home educated both of my children using a Steiner and Montessori child centred approach before working with a local primary school on a flexible three-day attendance basis. Both of my children are in full time education and thriving.
I am very proud of this achievement and am keen to use my experience to help other children and young people with autism, along with their parents, by offering respite care for home education parents.
I hold a Diploma in Mental Health, Autism, Advanced Autism, Behaviour that Challenges and currently studying to become a teacher. I also have a 1st class honours (BA) Performing Arts and LLDip) in Law.
I have a lot of empathy, patience, understanding about autism, and full of enthusiasm.
