Hi! I'm Sophie, I'm 22, fluent in french and english, and I'm a responsible, mature, yet fun and energetic person looking for babysitting work in London. I am British but have grown up and been educated in France, with an advanced level in both arts and sciences, and two years of university education in geopolitics under my belt. I have had many jobs including chef, gardener, live in nanny, teaching assistant, waitress etc. and I have lots of hobbies; i write, draw, hike and play guitar in a band with my dad and brother.
I've lived in London for three years now, and have recently moved up to Highgate. I'm now looking to meet some local families and get some regular babysitting work!
My Experience
I have always loved children, and have much experience with younger cousins and of course many hundreds of hours of babysitting. This led me to becoming a live in nanny for a year, looking after two children, a 3 year old and a 5 year old. This experience means I'm very comfortable around kids, and I understand the balance between being their friend and play mate but also getting them to brush their teeth when they're not so keen themselves.
I feel confident helping children with homework given my experience as a teaching assistant, and have also got the ability to speak some french to them if that is of interest to you.
I find spending time looking after kids to be very fulfilling, and I'm very happy to take instruction on the way you wish to look after your children.
My Qualifications
I have no official qualifications, apart from in first aid.
My Availability
I'm ideally looking for some regular babysitting locally to me in the Highgate/Kentish Town/Hampstead area. I have a very flexible timetable, so I can do any hours, whether it be from school pickup until you get back from work, or evening babysitting. I can also work during the day seeing as the summer holiday is coming up, this would preferably be on weekdays.
I'm not looking for more than three days per week, I'm not really looking for the same hours each week either, but I am open to it.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.50 per hour
given my experience and my age of 22, I charge the national living wage of approx 11.50 pounds per hour.
