About Me
My name is Joanne and I live with my husband Steven and our beautiful children Madison who is 13 years old, Sienna-May who is 11 years old, Elijah who is 9 years old and Autumn who is 3 years old.
I am registered by Ofsted, and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines and standards set by Ofsted.
My main aim is to provide a friendly, caring and secure environment where children can learn and develop to their full potential through play and structured activities.
My Experience

I have looked after my siblings, nieces and cousins when they have stayed and i am a full time mum.
I have worked in a primary school as a mealtime assistant, helping the children with their lunches and playing and keeping an eye on them in the playground.
I currently work as a TA part time helping out in various schools and nurseries 2 days a week.
My professional development is updated regularly by attending various short/long courses.

Joanne is a Fantastic childminder. Being new to the UK, she gave me the peace of mind that I needed to leave my daughter with her from when she was 7months old.
She had a kept a daily diary of what my daughter ate (mainly healthy foods & treats), times she took a nap and any highlights for the day, including any new words she learnt. This was really amazing as it made me feel like I was part of their day and showed great attention to detail, which I think is important when looking after young children.
She took numerous pictures and kept a learning journal which she shared with us on a regular basis. Took our daughter to the library each week, went to parks etc. She had good programs planned for each day, which encouraged being outdoors when the weather permitted, which I loved (children don't just spend time in front of the TV).
We would definitely recommend her as a childminder. She's got such a great heart and I feel that we were really fortunate to meet her at such a crucial stage in our life.

I'm giving this rating a 5star because our experience with Jo388 has been exceptional.
When we first met Jo, immediately our little girl felt comfortable with her and in the environment that Jo created at her home, it's safe and child friendly and she is very organised "something we as new parents are trying to work on".
Our little girl has made a lot of progress.
Jo has been such a great help to us, and she is very good at what she does.
