About Me
Hello, my name is Mo McDaid.
I am 56, married to a secondary school teacher, with two children, aged 22 and 21, and two Labradoodles. We live in the rural village of Weald. Our setting and location lends itself to the great outdoors, which I am keen to explore with the children through play.
To quote and old Pro 'There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing'.

My Experience
I have now been childminding for the past four years. Previously to this, I was a Teaching Assistant, within an outstanding Primary School in Sevenoaks, for 14 years. Working in EYFS and Key Stages 1 and 2. During this time, I have also worked one to one, with children who have special educational needs and disability.

As a first time mum, I was very worried about leaving our son in childcare. We viewed a number of nurseries and visited other childminders but as soon as I met Mo I knew she was the right fit for our family. Now, 5 months on, we couldn’t be more happy with the wonderful care she provides our son.
Mo has always been very attentive to our little boy’s needs, she has enabled us to stick to his routine and has built a beautiful relationship with our son. We really feel as though Mo has become a part of our extended family, our little boy adores going to see her and clearly feels well cared for and loved.
The setting is perfect- we love that Dylan gets to spend lots of time outdoors, can visit the farm animals and the park, and spend time playing in the garden. Mo provides plenty of opportunities for imaginative play and has supported our son’s cognitive, social and emotional development in so many ways.
We are leaving the area and the thing we are most sad about is that we can’t bring Mo with us.
An exceptional childminder who we have been so, so lucky to find.

The warm and loving environment that Mo provides is like a home-from-home for our little boy. We immediately felt at ease with her and he settled into her beautiful home very quickly. She is conscious of the individual needs of the children and goes above and beyond to ensure that those needs are met. We love that the children spend so much time outdoors and our son returns happy and exhausted in the best possible way.
Mo has made returning to work as a first time mum so easy and we can’t recommend her highly enough!

I couldn't recommend Mo's childcare service highly enough. We have total faith in her ability and trust her completely. My boys have grown extraordinarily attached to her (as have we) in the short space of time she has known us all. They really look forward to their time with her and come back glowing having had a super day. She ensures they are both physically and mentally stimulated; making sure their activities are relevant to each of my boys ages. She helps us as a family tackle head on any developmental challenges and is someone who strives to go above and beyond to help everyone.

I have known Mo for nearly a decade and she is the obvious choice whenever we need a babysitter for our 18 month old son. Mo is professional, reliable and friendly and my son loves spending time with her. She's great fun and I have complete faith in her judgement and abilities. Even during our first evening out when our son was a few months old, Mo put us completely at ease. She also has the advantage of living in a practically perfect countryside location, yet within easy reach of Sevenoaks.
Thanks Mo for all your help so far. Don't get too busy!
