About Me
My name is Rajae, I am an ofsted registered childcare Provider with a passion for seeing children thrive.
I live with my husband of 34 years and we have 3 wonderful children and a Granchild
My home offers a playroom in the conservatory, learning activities in the front room and a large secure garden which is accessible all year round where the children can play and explore freely. I also provide meals that are healthy and home cooked.
I plan age appropriate activities in accordance with the EYFS (7 areas of learning) and further extend learning by taking children on trips to local parks and the library etc. Also cooking and age appropriate light sports will be part of our weekly fun.
My aim is to provide a safe, stimulating, happy and caring environment where your child can learn and grow....
I am local to Pettswood, Bickley, and not far from Chislehurst and Bromley South.
My Experience
In addition to bringing up my own children I have also had experience at my children's local Primary School. Initially I worked as a volunteer but later went on to become a Teaching Assistant.
I then worked for many years at a large Nursery Setting. I had experience in the baby unit caring for newborn and toddlers - up to the age of 2 years old. I went on to become a Senior Practitioner (with the toddlers age (2 to 3) and preschool ages (3 to 5). A room leader and key worker to eight children. I also supported an assistant practitioners during their training.
As part of my role I ensured each child in my care was prepared for their next transition e.g Nursery to Pre-school or preschool to Primary-school. Each child I worked with reached their developmental milestones in accordance with the areas set out by the EYFS, as per the governmental guidelines.
I was a volunteer at a Sunday School for the past 13 years in the areas of reception and Year 1 age.
I was an Office Manager for over 8 years which is vital to keep me organised in my Childminding administration.
I am qualified SENCO
