Hello,
I am Sylvia, a native German speaker with over 14 years of experience living in the Netherlands and and since 2014 in the United Kingdom. I am also the proud mother of a teenage daughter.
I am passionate about teaching German and sharing my love for the language with children. My experience living abroad has given me a unique perspective on language learning and cultural understanding.
I offer personalized German tuition tailored to your child’s individual needs and learning style. I believe that language learning should be fun and engaging, and I use a variety of teaching methods to make it enjoyable for children.

My Experience
I've been a German language teacher at the Greenwich German Saturday School since 2019, specializing in teaching bi- and tri-lingual children aged 3-7. In addition, I've been offering personalized German and Dutch language tuition since March 2020 to children and young adults. I focus on teaching German as a foreign or second language. My lessons are available both in-person and online, and I can accommodate 1-on-1 or small group settings. Online lessons are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £10.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £17.50 per hour
Depending on the setting of the sessions (online/ in person, private/ group) I am asking between £10 - £ 35 per hour. There are also sessions of 30 min / 45 min possible. Please contact me for a specific rate.
