About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered childminder and a mother of a grown-up son with over 15 years of experience in providing high-quality care.
My childcare setting is a home environment with a professional approach, to ensure every child feels like they're at home while providing them with varieties of activities that nurture their potential to grow, learn, and thrive.
My setting is located in a prime area, just opposite the Tottenham football grounds, with easy access to public and private transportation. We are less than a minute’s walk from the High Road and just a three-minute walk to White Hart Lane train station.
The childcare takes place in a spacious, child-friendly lounge located on the ground floor. We also have access to a secure, communal garden where children can enjoy free play in a safe and open space.
My Experience
I have over 15 years of experience caring for children aged 0 to 10 years from diverse, multicultural backgrounds. I offer flexible settling-in periods tailored to each child's individual needs, ensuring a smooth transition into childcare. My care covers all stages of early development, from bottle-feeding to introducing solid foods, potty training and preparing children for school.
My Qualifications
• 1st Degree ( BSC) in Health & Child Development University of Greenwich.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene
• Advanced Child Protection.
Early Years Professional Development Programme in:
• Communication and Language in 2–4-year-olds.
• Understanding of Early Mathematics in 2–4-year-olds.
• Personal, Social and Emotional Development in 2–4-year-olds
• Certified Life Coach Maxwell Leadership Team

Doris has been a part of our lives for the last ten years, caring for all four of my children from when they were just 8 months old until they started school. Three of them still attend after-school activities and homework support, and they truly feel that the setting is their second home. Doris’ warmth and the nurturing environment she has created are so comforting.
The children are always excited to go there because of the fun activities, exploring the outdoors, and visiting historic sites, animal farms, and museums. My eldest, who’s now 12 and in secondary school, still pops in to visit sometimes.
I’m incredibly fortunate that all of my children received such a strong foundation with Doris. It’s made a big difference in their learning and development as they’ve grown. I am happy to recommend her service to any parent looking for childcare; she is very professional and friendly it’s a place where children truly thrive.

When I was looking for childminders, I visited 10 individuals with my daughter. I loved how Doris immediately went to interact with my child on a personal level, and not just with me. Doris provided enough time during that initial meeting to cover her approach to childcare and safe-guarding practices, while still engaging in positive interplay with my child. I came away feeling extremely positive about the meeting, felt her practices aligned with my personal preferences and was more than happy to engage her services.
I loved the range of ages that my daughter was exposed to while in the care of Doris. I always felt that taking her there was a positive force in my daughter's life. I felt my child's development was in excellent hands, and I highly valued the fact that my daughter was experiencing a broad range of cultural diversity that differed from my own background and experiences.
My daughter is progressing well in all regards, and I believe that Doris has significantly contributed to that development, providing strong, consistent fundamentals vital to the growth of my child, for which I am extremely grateful. I would be delighted to recommend her to other parents.
