About Me
I am a third year education studies student studying all aspects of education, I live in Hackney, I am 26 years old and come from a family of 8 ( six siblings including me). I have intercalated my final year to take some time off.
I love cooking and baking, talking walks to the park/farm, ice skating, bowling and yoga.. I enjoy bike riding but not quite there yet with confidence but I'm get there. I love reading books, my current read is the shining by Stephen King.
Driving- I am waiting for lockdown to lift so take my theory test, but I am very knowledgeable of TFL routes.
I love animals, my most recent pet was Blackmore the goldfish, I pet-sat Gunther the hamster for a friend and pet-sat aqua dragons. I plan on adopting a kitten as soon as I get my own place.
I love road trips, visiting historical landmarks, visiting beaches and light houses and travelling to different countries.
I love working with children in non-traditional educational settings such as summer schools where children are free to be creative, use their imagination and play while learning. I hope to work as a nanny/babysitter and gain experience as play worker or youth worker once lockdown has lifted.
My current job in the hospitality industry- Hotel team member at Travelodge London city, 20 hrs per week from 5-11pm but I have been put on furlough until further notice.
My Experience
Babysitting- family and friends newborn to ten since I was 15 years old
Nany- koru kids trained, was the nanny to a family in Clapton for four months last year
Volunteer/placement- Nursery, primary school, summer school/Saturday school since 2016
Paid employment- summer school since 2017 (this has come to a pause for the last two years due to the manager losing a loved one and Covid-19 until further notice)
First aid trained last year with koru kids but looking to retrain as soon as lockdown has lifted

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
preparing meals for the children, clothing them, bathing them, providing mental stimulation for them, doing laundry for the children, and reinforcing appropriate discipline. Support around the house if necessary such as cooking for the family or light house work or running errands like post or grocery shopping
