About Me
Hi, I am ofsted registered, fully insured, highly qualified and DBS checked.
I am a 43 year old mum to 12 year old twins (boy and a girl) a 2 year old boy, a standard Labradoodle, a Ragdoll cat and a goldfish! (All animals are very friendly but also have their own areas that they can be put in away from the children, unless they and their parents/carers are happy for the children to be around them).
I live in Bexleyheath, close to the A2 / Danson underpass.
My garden has a patio area and an astroturf lawn area which holds a football goal with lots of footballs, trampoline with safety net, swing ball set, table and chairs and a summer house holding plenty more toys, child’s kitchen and accessories, barbie dream house and accessories, action figures, my little pony sets, an abundance of books, puzzles and board games, not to mention lots of dressing up clothing!
I have an open plan living area downstairs which is sectioned off to the kitchen and conservatory, with a downstairs toilet and cleaning area/utility room.
I offer a home from home service with lots of love and care. I do fun activities with the children, including garden games, craft activities, cooking/baking, walks in the park and visits to the farm! I am also happy to offer support with homework for the children after school!
I am just starting back up again after my maternity leave and year at home with my little boy.
I am walking distance from Crook Log primary school and Upton Road primary school (but probably would not walk! - I have a 7 seater car - fully insured to transport the children).
Adults / over 16’s living in the house, ie my husband and I, both hold fully enhanced DBS’s.

My Experience
I have worked in childcare since 2014.
I worked in the same preschool setting for 6 years, looking after 2-4 year olds. I loved my job and had a great relationship with all the children and parents alike.
I had the role of SENCO, Phonics Lead & Forest School Lead in the setting aswell as being on headcount with key children that I observed and tracked through their play & all 7 areas of learning, as set out by the EYFS.
I started my childminding business in 2020 and have never looked back. Sucessfully looking after primary school children before and after school, aswell as babies / toddlers during the day.
I went on maternity leave in January 2022.
I have had a recent Ofsted inspection, on 19th April 2023 and met all requirements as set out by their guidelines. There were no children being looked after during the inspection (other than my own!) so I have not been graded at this time. I am happy to provide a copy of my inspection and all other qualifications / certificates / parents reviews I have.
I have also recently (April 2023) completed a paediatric first aid refresher course and a safeguarding refresher course.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7.75 per hour (or part of) - Includes healthy drinks & healthy snacks.
Dinner included, if I have your child(ren) all day.
Healthy packed lunch, to be provided.
Baby milk / formula, to be provided.
For school drops offs -
Breakfast is included if child(ren) dropped off before 7.30am (for a very small supplement fee).
For school pick ups -
Dinner is included if child(ren) collected from me after 5.30pm (for a very small supplement fee).
I accept childcare vouchers and offer tax free childcare.

My daughter attended Blossoms childcare for nearly a year before Lyndsay went on maternity leave. She was always punctual and reliable for school pickup. My daughter enjoyed playing and even managed to finish her homework while she was at her house. The dinners were also very healthy and nutritious and I would highly recommend Lyndsay.

Lyndsay looked after my son from September 2020 to December 2021, when she went on maternity leave. Jacob had such a good time with her and the other children that he never wanted to leave! Lyndsay always made sure the older kids completed their homework before they could go and play, and because she always provided a good meal and snacks, it made my life so much easier on those nights that Jacob was collected from school by Lyndsay. Her house is clean and comfortable and the kids all had such fun there. I would highly recommend Lyndsay as a childminder for any age, as she often had a range of ages of kids with her, and she catered and cared for them all equally and brilliantly.

I had been extremely happy with the care Anaelle had received.
Lindsay was very kind and patient person. She was excellent as a childminder. I was glad when I found her.

Lyndsay was looking after my daughter after school before she took a maternity break. She was absolutely brilliant with her. My daughter always looked forward to being in her setting and thrived under her care. Lyndsay's kids are very friendly and caring as well. My daughter was scared of dogs and Lindsay managed that very well with her pet. She is flexible and prompt and thorough with any communication. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, nurturing and more importantly fun place for their kid. You will not have to worry about a thing!

Lyndsay is a great childminder with a lovely home with indoor and outdoor space for children.
She helped care for my daughter from 9 months old and had (and still has) a great relationship with her. She encouraged her development and independence as well as giving cuddles and comfort when needed.
