professionally qualified and experienced NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST -MATERNITY NURSE, NIGHT NANNY and DOULA. I am able to facilitate any aged child and parent in their time and need with discretion, delicacy and ease. I have 4 children of my own so therefore understand the every day challenges of being a parent especially when with your first baby. There is nothing more precious than this, so understand every relationship is unique, this is why I offer a personalised and unique service to every family.

I have over 16 years experiance in professional and relaxed settings. I have worked with over 40 families and many more NEWBORN settings. I am a professionally trained and experienced maternity nurse for newborns and have EXTENSIVE knowledge in nursing and newborn care boasting a paediatric degree and nursing qualifications.

We met Ellie through childcare and during the initial conversation we were convinced that she was the right person for us as she gave us a clear picture of what to expect during delivery and subsequently. My baby arrived before time and Ellie (though she was out with her family on a weekend getaway) came to be with me right after my delivery. Her presence and knowledge about babies put my mind at ease. During our stay at the hospital and then at home, Ellie and I worked as a team rather than a client and a professional, which makes me thank god again for introducing Ellie to us. I am sure Ellie would be an asset to any family looking for a childcare professional because of her knowledge and involvement.

I was lucky to work with Ellie for 6 days across 3 weeks just before my twin boys turned 3 months’ old. At that time I needed someone to help me put some structure in the day, establish some routines and feel more confident as a new and first time mom. Ellie did all of those things expertly. She’s great with babies - engaging and energetic - very confident handling two at a time and very quickly built trust with us - to the point that we felt confident leaving her for a few hours with the boys after the first week. Ellie creates rapport quickly and put you at ease as a parent, with her deep knowledge of babies. Thank you so much for all your great help, Ellie!

We’ve had Ellie come and look after our little boy overnight on a few occasions and he absolutely adores her! The first time he was less than 2 months old. She’s incredibly capable and competent while also being warm and kind. It was stressful for me to leave him, but Ellie put my mind at rest by keeping in constant contact. She’s reliable, trustworthy, a complete natural with babies, and she always gives amazing advice on everything baby related! From sleep coaching to feeding - we’re so grateful to have Ellie in our lives and will have her with us again and again with no hesitation.

Ellie helped us get a good night's sleep when we needed it most! She settled our 5 month old really well in her own cot and managed to get her to take a bottle where we had failed in previous efforts. She was flexible and responsive to accommodate exactly what we needed and also gave us some helpful advice for moving forwards by ourselves with sleep training.

We needed someone to look after our 2-month old son for an evening and Ellie really helped us. Super pro and made us feel confident to leave and enjoy our night out! Highly recommend!

Ellie came to spend a couple of nights with us to give us some sleep. She was fabulous - settled in immediately, worked out what was needed and sent us to bed! Our baby was instantly happy with her and she was able to give us some really useful advice. She’s delightful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

We were very lucky. Our original Night Nanny canceled on us 10 days before our baby was due. In a bit of a panic, we started messaging lots of people on childcare.com. Ellie called us almost instantly and was so outraged that she managed to shuffle things around to come and help us. I think this points to the type of person she is. She is kind and thoughtful, loves babies, and clearly loves her job.
Ellie was with us for a month from 2 weeks after our baby was born. This was ideal as it helped us settle into a routine and for my wife to recover from her C-section by getting lots of unbroken sleep. Ellie also helped to give us the confidence to get our baby into the nursery straight away. This is where she is great. She will support you in your choices but give you good advice to make sure you do not fail in what you are trying to achieve.
The best thing Ellie does is make herself at home straight away, so it doesn't feel odd having her in your home. She becomes part of the family while she is there, and I could not recommend her more.

Ellie was extremely helpful right from the start, very flexible and accomodating! She helped take care of my 7 week old baby girl overnight while I was in London for a holiday, and was extremely professional… she took such good care of my daughter and left me feeling very much at ease thanks to her kind nature and her experience. She was very accommodating with changes to our schedule and offered some great advice and support in lactation given her expertise.

Ellie was an absolute game changer for our 5 month old. She was going through 4-month sleep regression and we were struggling hard. Ellie just took control when we needed her and gave us loads of coaching and tips to help our baby actually sleep and get in a decent routine. She's done nights as well as days for us and does absolutely everything needed. 100% recommend.

We were very lucky to have Ellie at short notice as the maternity nurse we booked had some health issues. Ellie is extremely confident with my baby and I was able to feel at ease within the first few hours. She did both day and night work for us and quickly identify some changes required for baby, I was skeptical but she was right!!
I highly recommend Ellie to anyone needs a confident maternity nurse with lots of experience and knowledge of children at any age. Not only she was great with the baby, my toddler loved hanging out and having conversations with Ellie too.
