About Me
I am a warm and nurturing childminder and love looking after children, i have 4 grown up children of my own and they have now all left home, i also have 8 grandchildren. I enjoy seeing children grow and help them to become independent and ready for when they start school. I am always out with minded children visiting local farms /parks and playgroups. We also do lots of crafts, painting and baking. I have a garden where the children can play with sand, water and other garden equipment such as a slide and ride on toys the children will always have access to outside space. My home is smoke free and i have a dog which is totally relaxed and friendly around children. I do pick ups and drop offs at Bandon hill primary school .
My Experience
i have been actively involved in voluntary work helping to set up breakfast clubs in schools, i have also volunteered to help in playgroups and have helped listening to children read in school. My Paediatric First Aid certificate is renewed every 3 years, i also have a Food hygiene certificate and completed professional development course for Safeguarding children.
My Qualifications
I am a fully registered Ofsted Childminder. I have Paediatric First Aid certificate, Food hygiene certificate and completed professional development course for Safeguarding children.

Elaine is such a lovely lady so welcoming and kind it feels like I’ve know her all my life, shes always smiling and happy and my Little boys face lights up when he see’s her. She has a lovely home with all the toys arts and crafts and a garden with lots of outdoor toys. Nothing is to much trouble she’s always happy to help out no matter what. I’m so glad we found Elaine, Leo is so happy there and that makes me very happy, she’s a wonderful childminder.

Elaine has cared for our daughter since she was 12 months old and very quickly we realised she's an incredible childminder - our little girl adores her. We were so nervous to leave our daughter with anybody else in those early days but Elaine put our minds at ease with lovely updates and eased any worries we had.
Elaine has been great managing her routine, flexible when her needs changed and has offered us some great advice along the way. Elaine brings so much happiness every day and our daughter always comes home really happy, telling us all about what she did that day, the songs she sang, the people she played with, what food they ate. Elaine always comes up with brilliant crafts and activities for the children to do, gets them involved in food preparation and baking and regularly takes them to the park and the farm, as well as encouraging outdoor play in the garden and with water and sand. Our daughter has come along so much in the time Elaine has cared for her and has made some lovely little friends. Elaine now feels like an extension of the family and is so passionate about the care she provides in her lovely, homely setting. She even came along to our little one’s 2nd birthday. I can’t imagine our life without Elaine now and would recommend her to anybody in the area looking for warm, caring and highly organised childcare.

Elaine is an absolute dream. Our little girl has been going to Elaine since she was one year old. As we had no previous experience of childcare, we didn't know what to expect or that our daughter would have such a fantastic experience.
Elaine sends us updates, great photos and messages every day. She provides a wide variety of activities for the kids including arts and crafts, trips to the farm and park, games and songs, which our little girl loves.
She loves going to Elain's and it is wonderful to see how much she learns every day and most of all how much fun she has. It is extremely difficult to entrust our child to anyone else, but we quickly realized that Elain is what every parent dreams of. Elaine is very passionate about her work and cares deeply about the children she looks after. She is very easy to talk to, and was incredibly flexible when we needed her.
We would highly recommend Elaine to anyone looking for a caring, flexible, generous and kind childminder.

It was my first time using a childminder and Elaine was/is so understanding of those nerves & fears.
Elaine put my mind at ease and gave me daily picture updates on their varied days.
They regularly baked, made jellies and enjoyed wet play over the summer.
They also went to playgroups, the park and out to other childminders too.
My little one was nervous at first but soon grew to love going to Elaine’s home from home & spending time with her new friends.
Elaine is a warm, welcoming person who is happy to help wherever she can. She understands the working day often changes, last minute and if she can accommodate she will.
We will definitely be tied to Elaine long term as I can't imagine my little one going to any other Childminding setting and being so happy.

Elaine is just amazing! I was lucky to have found her when I did. She’s so incredibly accommodating and tries her best to follow routines we already had (or half had) and helped stabilise them. Being a first time mum has been made that bit easier by having Elaine around to share her wisdom. Our son was once a picky eater with barely any vocabulary and in just under a year, he’s now willing to try almost anything and constantly asks if “we going Elaines today?” He’s come along leaps and bounds and I have Elaine to thank for contributing to that.
