About Me
Hi, my name is Mira and I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I offer high quality care in a brand-new modern play room separated from my house that was purposely built for looking after children. My setting is safe, clean, fun and filled with a brand-new variety toys for different age ranges. I can safely describe the environment I have available as fun and exciting where children can learn and grow through children’s centred activities I prepare carefully and child led o activities. The quality of my setting comes as a result of the combination of my experience, knowledge and brand-new facilities. I have a few available spaces which can allow children I look after to develop and expand the social, emotional and personal skills. I work with my husband (artist) as my assistant who teaches children art and my oldest daughter who is very kind and friendly. They both are DBS checked through OFSTED , safeguarding and first aid, hygiene and also trained to look after children under my supervision, as well as attending relevant courses through the local government.
The passion about caring for children always has and will be with me throughout my life followed by the success with my own three children who are all in secondary school now and also with my childcare qualifications as well as my graduation in the Psychology in child development.
The service I offer provides healthy meals prepared fresh on site from scratch and snacks, good quality nappies, sun cream, and various age related activities inside or outside in the garden, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. I only ask parents to provide some spear clothes as everything else is included in the price of the service.
A viewing to the setting is highly recommended!
My Experience
I have over 20 years’ experience working with young children in schools, nurseries and Kumon tuition program. I also have experience of working with children with special needs at a primary school as well as in my setting.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE degree in Psychology (Child Development)

Mira has been an absolute godsend for our family. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she had a genuine passion for nurturing children's development. Our little one has been thriving under her care, hitting milestones early and always coming home happy.
The premises are impeccably clean and fully equipped, and she makes sure the kids get plenty of outdoor time at the playground. Their food menu looks delicious and healthy, our little one loves it.
Mira and Ben are always smiling, and it's evident that they truly love our little one. Mira has been a pillar of support for us as first-time parents, offering invaluable advice and guidance along the way.
In short, we couldn't be happier with Mira. She's exceeded our expectations in every way, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent looking for exceptional childcare.

Our little girl Freya has been with Mira for 1 year now, she was 10 months old when she started.
We love the set up and environment, with lots of learning tools and toys. Freya absolutely loves going, they treat her like part of their family which we love. Mira keeps us informed throughout the day, sending photos and letting us know what she has eaten and how she has slept. Freya's development has come on in leaps and bounds which is a reflection on Mira's hard work. We will be so sad to say farewell to Mira and family when Freya starts school.

My daughter has started at Mira’s setting in July’22 and has been shining so well since she joined. She settled so quickly and has been such a happy child. She talks a lot now all about Mira and Ben. She made really good friends in the nursery and does so many different activities throughout the day.
We had such a terrible experience from one of the Private nurseries with nappy rash, constant sickness, not eating.
Mira resolved all our issues and even taught my daughter to self feed. Both Mira and Ben are amazing with kids. The fact that Mira’s daughter helps her in nursery shows how well her upbringing is with her own children. She treats all kids as her own and takes amazing care.
I have been such a happy mum to have found Mira and can be at work without any worries. Her standards of behaviour and cleanliness are so high.. the fresh food served for lunch and teatime are so pleasing to see through the pics shared throughout the day..

Mira has been so helpful, friendly and profesional in what she does. Her husband Ben cooks really nice food that my daughter can't have enough. They pay a lot of attention to my daughter and send text/photo throughout the day. It is our loss that we have to leave Mira due to house moving, otherwise would continue for long time.10/10 recommended!!!

We've been sending our 1yr old to mira for about 4 months and he is very happy there. She keeps us updated throughout the day and we always feel connected to what he is doing and how his day has gone. She does a great job helping him progress and the childcare setup she has is a step above most childminders. Would not hestiate to reccomend her

Our 15 month old daughter Rémy has been going to Mira’s two and a half days per week since May. We were immediately impressed with her setting-it is perfect! Super clean, safe and brimming with toys & education. Mira and her family are brilliant-friendly, great communication and they love the kids. Rémy adores going and has made some little friends which is important to us as she’s an only child. We get regular messages and photos detailing her day and she’s always doing different things. The food is healthy and there’s loads of variety - Rémy has no dietary requirements but I know Mira and Ben accommodate them well in other kids. In summary, I can’t speak more highly of Buzy Bees. We are so happy we found them and would recommend them to anyone. ☺️

I've been sending my daughter to Mira since January 2021 and it has been amazing to say the least!
Mira was extremely welcoming and friendly which gave me the confidence and comfort I was looking for in a childminder.
She welcomed my daughters dietary requirements with no issue whatsoever.
Mira updates me throughout the day with what my daughter is getting up to and it makes me feel like I'm not missing out on anything even though I'm at work.
My daughter loves going to see Mira everyday, the setting is amazing and the outdoor play area is wonderful too! There are plenty of different kinds of toys and activities for the children to play with so they will never get bored. She does lots of arts and crafts which is so lovely to see when my daughter brings home a special occasion card for us :)
110% recommend Mira to anyone who is looking for a caring professional childminder who is going to benefit your child's growth and wellbeing!

Thank you Rhian, it's my pleasure to look after your little princess as she is a joy to have in my setting. Watching her grow and developing in the best possible way is the reason I love my job.
I've been sending my boys to Ermira since the end of Dec and she is fantastic with them. She gives lots of updates which helps put me at ease and I know my boys are in good hands. They love being there and I can see they are having so much fun. Her setting is amazing with lots of different activities, my boys are able to explore different things that I would find hard to do myself at home for the boys.
I highly recommend her.
