About Me

Hello, my name is Maria, I live in Denby Dale with my wife, three children, and dog. I have just recently been inspected and have received a good grade. We love to explore the great outdoors come rain or shine and we are an active family, participating in various sports. Our dogs are very friendly, we have a pointerdor, in which children can have as little or as much involvement as they wish. I have a 12 year History of working for the police service and my partner currently works for the fire service, therefore we know the difficulties surrounding the balancing of shift work and childcare.

3 little monkeys is very much a home from home setting and has a safe indoor play/learning area and a safe and spacious outdoor area which is well secured. Toys are stored purposely at child height to support child led play and sensory items are also in place.
I accept enquiries from parents/carers with children aged from 3 months – school age. For under 5’s I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to help me observe, assess and plan for each child’s individual learning and development. I work with parents and local providers to ensure all the children in my care reach their full potential.

Several meetings will take place before commencement of your child’s place, and also settling in sessions will also be offered free of charge in order for me to gain a good understanding of your child’s routine and to ensure your child feels safe and happy, at 3 little monkeys this is of paramount importance. I offer a 2/3 hour settling in session to begin with followed by a 4/5 hour session, sessions are offered once contract has been agreed.
