About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher living in South West London. I love teaching across the primary curriculum with a particular passion for Phonics and maths. I qualified from the University of Cambridge with a degree in History and then completed my training to acquire a PGCE with QTS.
My Experience
I have ample experience across a range of ages and settings. I am a Year 1 teacher with experience supporting children to make significant progress using different interventions and planning an ambitious curriculum. I have 3+ years of babysitting experience for a 5 and 7 year old. I spent over 4 years volunteering at a local Rainbows unit for girls aged 5-7. Through my job at a local library I spent 3 years running a weekly Rhymetime session for 0-2 year olds involving highly energetic and engaging performances of nursery rhyme with parents and their children, and I also ran a monthly reading group for 8-12 year olds. I have also worked 4 years at a summer activity camp, working my way up to Camp Manager of a large camp spanning ages 4-14.
