WHO ARE WE?

We provide food as part of the daily rate. If you prefer to provide let us know
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
No day is typical at our setting. Our children are creative thinkers and often lead the way!
We frequently visit local parks, woods, the library, outdoor areas and soft play areas, sometimes walking/catching a bus to these destinations, getting lots of fresh air and learning to understand the world around us.
We attend different toddler groups helping to develop good social skills.
We do believe in some old fashion values such as manners and sitting together at the table for meals. we are very aware talking to children from birth upwards plays a major part in their development.
Our downstairs toilet gives easy access to hand washing facilities and encourages the younger children to become gradually more independent once potty trained. Risk assessment is in place for hygiene and safety.
We aim to help the younger children to become confident and independent with simple tasks such as putting their own shoes and coat on, learning to cope with zips and buttons, ready for their next step of starting school.
The day will be filled with opportunities to develop we explore different seasons, the weather , colours and numbers, we also explore world events and occasions such as celebrating Diwali and Christmas or learning about the royals!
We love what we do and get great satisfaction in seeing the children we care for grow and flourish both socially and educationally, while feeling happy, safe and loved in our home from home setting.
We are great believers in forming good relationships with my parents and working together .

We booked Alex for a few hours while we went out one night. We only gave her around 3 hours notice and she was still able to help us out!
It was the first time she was meeting my 2 girls and she was so good with them. My eldest daughter loved her! She got both of them off to sleep and settled for when we got home and I can’t thank her enough for it.
It was the first time ever having a babysitter for our children and she made me feel at ease. She even texted me once through the night to give me an update on the kids which made me happy.
Will definitely book her again x
