After school nanny!

I’m a 24 year old primary school teaching assistant with plenty of SEN and mainstream experience. I am currently working as a SEN specialist in a primary school and have availability after school, however for the right family I would happily return to full time nannying!

I worked full time as a nanny for a year, caring for a family with children aged 3,6 & 9. I had sole care of the children whilst their parents were working, I would do the school run and care for the youngest throughout the day until collecting the elder two from school. During the day we spent a lot of time outside, baking, playing and attending playgroups. The children would help me cook dinner to aid in their life and motor skills. We were settled into a great and orderly evening routine in which the children would come home from school, complete reading and homework tasks, have dinner and bath before bed. I loved my time as a nanny, however with the youngest due to start school in September I decided that it was time to return to working in a school setting. The family became an extension of my own and their home really was a home from home, I am so lucky to still be in regular contact with them and always maintain a relationship with families who I have worked with.

I used to work as a part time nanny during the school holidays and after school and am looking to start this up again. My previous nanny role had me doing overnight shifts whilst the parents work away, so this is no problem to me if that’s what you need! I absolutely love working with children, my enthusiasm and passion for learning is one of my best attributes. I have worked in an early years setting up to year 13 in a school environment, and from babies to age 17 in a nannying setting. I’m used to working in a home with pets, and helping out with housework and cooking. My family own a small holding with lots of farm animals which I love to take my Nanny children to - I like to keep screen time to a minimum to aid the children’s development. I’m happy to care for your children in the comfort of their own homes if this suits them best, but also equally happy to have them out of the house or in my home if this suits parents that are working from home.
