About Me
I am a 40 (something!) year old mum of three grown up children, aged 21,19 and 18
My Experience
I have over 12 years experience working in a nursery setting and am now excited to be able to provide warm and loving care in the most fantastic environment of my own home. We have heaps of outdoor space, including a large enclosed garden, woodland space and farmland.
I and my own children have been incredibly privileged to grow up in this environment and I want to share these experiences with other children, giving them the freedom to run, explore endlessly (but safely) and help care for the various animals - Horses, chickens, cattle, dogs and currently a pet lamb we bottle fed in the spring
When we have exhausted the outdoors, a nurturing home from home environment is waiting for them inside.
I strongly believe that every child should be encouraged to show their individuality, and that we as providers harness this to enable positive learning.
I have special needs experience, in particular, Down Syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy. Special needs is not about changing the child to fit in with us but to change our thinking and provision to understand and support children to achieve their individual goals "you can't fit a square peg in to a round hole"
I also have knowledge of Makaton Sign language.

£55 8am - 6pm
£42.50 9am - 4pm
£5.50 extra hours
