About Me
My name is Michelle, I am a OFSTED registered childminder, at Little Imaginations childminding.
On 31st October 2022 I had my first graded inspection and very happy to say I was graded GOOD. I have been childminding for 2.5 years. I’m 38 I live with my Partner, who is also DBS checked. We have 3 children, they are 15, 6 and 4. We have two tortoises, and a working cocker spaniel dog. We live off of Hazleton Way in Horndean.
I will provide a warm loving, safe environment home from home. We have a playroom filled with different toys I believe in learning through play, I educate following the EYFS, we have a lovely new Astroturf all weather garden with plenty of inside space.
I have a full paediatric first certificate, a full clean driving license and business insurance on my car. Which I strongly believe is important so that the children in my care get to go on days out to promote outdoor learning, and give them experiences that they will never forget.
As a working mum I know how hard it is to leave your child to go to work which is why I like to provide a home from home environment. Your child will be given a personal approach for their individual needs, with all the love and care a child requires. This not only helps the children to settle in but means that once they have settled they grow in confidence and thrive. I believe that a strong routine and structure gives the children the safety and the security they need and I follow strict safeguarding rules to ensure that your child remains safe in my care.
My Experience
Before I had my eldest son I worked in a nursery for a short while, when he was little I did some voluntary work in a pre school
I have worked in the school kitchens, cooking the children’s lunches
For 8 years I worked at Heidis Swiss patisserie cooking in the kitchen and serving the customers.
I then decided to make the choice to follow my dream with a childcare career and do what I love most
Being a mum of 3 this has given me a lot of experience in knowing children’s needs and how they are all different and have their own individual needs.

Monday to Thursday
7.30am - 5.30pm
I can offer school drop offs to Horndean infants, juniors and the nursery

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.25 per hour
My fees are £5.25 per hour, snack and drinks are included
Before school £8 - 7.30am - 8.50am
After school £16.50 - 3.10pm - 5.30pm, snack and drinks included
I can provide meals at an extra cost, but are not a must
