About Me
My name is Amy Williams & I live with my husband & two children aged 14 & 11 who attend Secondary School now. I am Ofsted registered graded good. I will accept childcare vouchers and be able to offer funded childcare places.
I am based out skirts of Stanstead Abbotts on the border with Hoddesdon and live in a lovely house which has a nice big garden that is full of garden toys for all ages. I have a playroom that is equipped with lots of educational toys. I love to plan lots of exciting activities in and out of the house. I will be planning learning activities for the children to help develop their needs and we will learn about different celebrations and culture. I like to go on outings to the parks and toddler groups.
We have a dog named Bailey who is a Black Labrador and a maltipoo named Oreo who both love to go for walks so we will be going to feed the ducks and on trips to the woods. When Bailey is not out on a walk he takes the time to sleep on the landing.
My Experience
I studied at college for my NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing and worked in a nursery for 3 years then went on to be a nanny for more than 12 years which gave me experience with new-borns and triplets. Once I had my second child I started working part-time in a local theatre which grew to be a full-time role across multiple sites. I have now decided to return to childcare which as led me to start my own business as a childminder and have completed the Pacey Working in Home Based Childcare for childminders course in order to bring my knowledge up to date with the latest Early Years developments.

NNEB, NCFE CACHELEVEL 3 IN PREPARING TO WORK IN HOME BASED CHILDCARE, OFSTED REGISTERED, FIRST AID, DELIVERINGTHE EYFS, SCHEMAS, SAFEGUARDING, FOOD AND HYGIENE LEVEL 2, PACEY MEMBER
